Nanoresearch Kyoto Co., Ltd.

Problem solving through innovative ideas is the engine of corporate growth.

We are a nanotechnology venture company specializing in research and development. Based on our core technologies of 3D microfabrication, fluid control, and magnetic control, we conduct contract research (outsourced research and development) and develop COVID-19-engineered infection control products. We will return our accumulated R&D experience and technologies to society to help solve social issues such as super-aging, decarbonization, and living with COVID-19.

Nanotechnology and MEMS Applications
Research and development applying nanotechnology and MEMS technology includes the following:
Energy harvesting (magnet, magnetostrictive, piezoelectric, friction, magnetic elastomer)
MEMS prototyping and development (optical MEMS, thermal heads, power MEMS, magnetic MEMS, thin film electronics)
Microfluidics (microreactor particle synthesis, biochips for saliva, micro pumps)
Various sensors (tactile sensors, biosensors, pulse wave sensors, olfactory sensors, glucose sensors, QCM viscosity sensors, etc.)
Magnetic applications (magnetic separation, magnetic refrigeration, magnetic actuators, magnetic fluid heat transport)
Engineering infection control for COVID-19
We are developing a breath cleaner for use in situations where masks are removed to prevent COVID-19 infection. It is placed indoors at a person's mouth, and the infected person's exhaled breath is directly inhaled, expelling only clean air into the room. We hope it will be useful as a first attempt to remove masks and as a control of indoor infection.
Proprietary technologies
Specific technologies in our possession include the development of saliva biosensors and glucose sensors that can be used at home for early detection of diseases, as well as sensor and IOT technologies for robots that can compensate for the declining functions of the elderly. We also develop various types of environmental power generation devices, including electromagnetic induction, piezoelectric, and friction-charged devices. In fluid control, we are developing microreactors and micro-mist technology for particulate synthesis.
