Our goal is the social implementation of Euglena-derived nanofibers.
By cultivating Euglena and other microalgae, we conduct everything from R&D to manufacturing and sale of fishery resources, livestock feed, nutritional supplements, biofuels, and fiber material serving as alternatives to petrochemical products.

Business description
We mass-cultivate the microalgae Euglena and provide nanofibers (*1) of β-1,3-glucan produced from Euglena. Further, we offer paramylon, which is an aggregate of β-1,3-glucan, for a wide range of applications including functional materials, structural materials, cosmetics and foods. Primary processing is also available upon request. By cultivating special Euglena strains using our proprietary technology, we are able to cultivate 10 times more than before. (*1) Nanofibers are obtained by a defibration of paramylon and are thus called paramylon nanofibers (PNF).
Main products
Euglena, paramylon, and PNF can be used in a wide range of applications, for example, as functional improvers for resins, rubber, coatings, inks, and fibers, as additives for foods, functional foods, pet foods, and feeds, as cosmetic ingredients, and as petroleum substitute materials by making paramylon into fat.

Since Euglena, paramylon, and PNF have a very wide range of applications, we believe that there are many surprising uses. We would like to utilize J-GoodTech as an opportunity other than exhibitions to bring as many people as possible into contact with them.
