Intovent coating

It is a water-based completely inorganic coating agent, so it has excellent dirt removal and is genuinely hydrophilic. We do not use any organic matter. Anyone can easily apply it evenly, as it is only necessary to apply and wipe. This new proposal from Intovent contributes to the improvement of the global environment with frequently used cleaning agents.

This collaboration product combines traditional Nishijin-ori fabric and cutting-edge materials.

It achieves durability and strength suitable for industrial use with glass fiber and carbon fiber as materials.
By applying special coating and molding, we have strengthened product specifications in order to support many applications.

There are endless applications such as building materials, in-vehicle parts, furniture, decorations, and parts for electronic devices.

Manufacturing Process
(1) Design Confirmation
In order to give shape to our client’s image, we ask about the color, design, etc. they have requested,
and propose a finished product that is as close to their ideal as possible.

(2) Dyeing of glass fibers
We mix the pigment for the target Munsell value, and complete the blend with approval from the client.
(If there is a sample other than the Munsell value, we can mix it)
As shown in the figure on the right, the glass fiber is dipped in pigment, and after the dehydration process, it is wound on the bobbin.

(3) Nishijin-ori fabric loom
A craftsman who has inherited the tradition and technique of Nishijin-ori fabric weaves step by step to meet the required design,
carefully operating the loom.
The shape comes out as a roll of cloth, and post-processing is done according to the finished product.
Maximum width is 950 mm (after cutting off the end)

(4) Coating
We prepare coating agents, mainly acrylic and silicone, to meet the required specifications.
We apply the coating on one fabric roll with a knife coating while adjusting the thickness of the whole roll.
We meet required specifications by inserting additives, adjusting coating thickness, and stacking coating layers.

(5) Cut
We cut to the desired size width with a slitter. We cut in the horizontal direction with hand cutting.
