Advanced Laser Microfabrication and Metal Decoration Technologies

Microfabrication is one of the most advanced technologies currently attracting attention, and there are many needs for it regardless of the field. Of the various technologies that enable microfabrication, lasers have unique characteristics and have received significant interest. Based on our experience in laser microfabrication, we will propose solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

[Company Profile]
[Processing Available]
Microfabrication equipment using ultra-short pulsed lasers, such as picosecond lasers and femtosecond lasers, is capable of the following processes, taking advantage of their non-thermal processing characteristics.
Fine hole drilling of high roundness
Fine multi-hole machining utilizing high speed
Taper-less irregularly shaped cutouts
Micron-level fine grooving
Sharp fine cutting
High-speed cutting of wafers
Texturing to add unique features to surfaces
Markings so subtle as to be indistinguishable by the naked eye
Selective removal of thin films
Ultra-fine through-hole machining at the submicron level
New metal decoration technology capable of drawing fine metal lines several tens of microns wide (atmospheric processing allows flexible design)
[Materials That Can Be Processed]
The following are the various types of materials that can be processed with picosecond laser processing machines. The composite materials can also be processed.
Metals (stainless steel SUS304, SUS430, SUS316, aluminum A5052, copper C2100, C1100, iron S45C, SS400, gold, nickel, etc.)
Ceramics (alumina Al2O3, silicon carbide SiC, silicon nitride, zirconia, aluminum nitride, LiNbO3, LiTaO3, etc.)
Glass (borosilicate glass, fused silica, blue plate glass, etc.)
Resin (PI, PET, PP, PS, PTFE, PEEK, acrylic, etc.)

Also, they can process any shape, such as follows:
Flat plate
Other complex shapes

As for processing details, they can be used for various applications, including removal and modification, such as follows:
[Representative's Message]
Our technology can be applied to a wide variety of fields, including precision mechanical parts, high-precision measuring instruments, medical devices, watch parts, automotive parts, thin-film solar cells, OLED for lighting, etc., and is also widely used for prototyping in the field of research and development, such as experimental devices for principle verification, minute artificial defects, and special precision jigs.

We are actively developing new technologies in-house. One such technology is fine-width metal line drawing technology using lasers on transparent substrates. As an application of this technology, it became possible to create precise metal decorations with actual metal. It decorates transparent substrates such as sapphire and acrylic as well as glass. Our metal decoration technology can be applied to "real metals" such as copper and stainless steel, using fine lines and surfaces with a luxurious metallic luster. It is not a metal-like decoration. We will continue to respond to various requests from customers.
