We are a dyeing workshop with a history of over 110 years since the Meiji period
We conduct integrated processing from dyeing white cotton and hemp fabrics to sewing, so we can devise various processes and be flexible. This improves the quality of the finished product. We use a technique called "brush-pulled dyeing" that is rare even in Japan to create a natural texture. Various colors, designs, and quantities are available. Our main products are temple curtains, short coats for festivals, and body coverings for lion dances, and we are also developing new products such as body bags using this technology. We are actively exploring the possibilities of collaboration with new fields, and not just for traditional ritual products. We are looking for cooperating companies for waterproofing of fabrics, new product development, and so on.

Highly precious traditional dyeing techniques
Genuine hand-dyeing This is a highly precious dyeing technique in which a paste made mainly of glutinous rice or rice bran (dye-resistant starch) is placed on the fabric and dye is drawn over it with a brush. This ensures that the target portion alone is finished in white with the area of the dye-resistant starch not being dyed. Traditional technique More than 90% of the products we currently deliver are made with the traditional dyeing techniques of brush-pulled dyeing and tube-pulled hand-dyeing. We carefully manufacture our products using traditional dyeing techniques that have been handed down from generation to generation.
Preliminary design proposals
Design creation using specialized tools We make full use of illustration creation tools to show you detailed drawings and finished images with dimensions and other information. You can grasp the image of the finished product without any specialized knowledge. A wide variety of sample products We have been manufacturing various products since 1909, including lion dance body coverings, shrine and temple curtains, and short coats for festivals. This history and our track record mean that we have a wide range of sample products, which makes it easy for you to get an image of the finished product before placing an order.
Overwhelming know-how in dyeing and sewing
We can make suggestions from both the dyeing and sewing sides in addition to what you request. This includes suggesting dyeing rather than a pigment for color retention in a specific application, reinforcing the fabric in a particular spot to make it more durable, and methods that would make a product lighter and easier to use.
