Kashiki Seisakusho Co., Ltd.

We develop and provide film tape with new features combining “materials and processing.”

We support the development of new devices by processing materials such as film, metal foil and adhesives by adding slits and lamination, thus supplying materials at values not seen previously. We continue to pursue new materials and challenge ourselves with new processing technologies and methods.

Introduction of business content and product/technology overview
Business content/features
We combine “processing” including slitting and laminating of “materials” such as film, metal foil, and adhesives to create valuable products. We can perform integrated production from film-on-film and film-on-metal foil bonding (laminating and coating) and microslit processing to pressing. We combine materials information and processing technology to realize our customers’ imagination. This is the starting point of Oak-Trees, Inc. Our products include PET film, metal film (AL/CU), Super Engineering Plastics (PEEK/PPS/PI/PEI), and fluorine film (unfired PTFE/fired PTFE/porous PTFE).
In addition, we started developing CNT heaters using CNT mass distribution technology and uniform coating technology.
Overview of main products and technologies
Lamination indicates the technology with a process of making laminating film by bonding multiple different types of materials together. Different types of film with different characteristics, such as metal foil, are bonded together to produce composite films. Our coating technology is used to apply resin with functions as a heat sealant or adhesive to film base material. Different coating methods are used depending on the thickness of the required coating. The methods available are the Gravure method and the Comma method. Slit processing is a process in which long rolls of film or paper are placed lengthwise and continuously cut into the desired width. There are various wind-up methods available, such as record wind-up and bobbin traverse wind-up.
Message from the representative (efforts toward developing future sales channels and intentions toward utilizing J-GoodTech)
One day in February 1996, we received an unusual request to manufacture a tape that the conventional wisdom would have considered impossible to make. While we had limited manufacturing equipment and materials knowledge, we had unlimited creativity instead. In 1996, we succeeded in making the product using an unprecedented manufacturing method and creative combination of materials. This product development was our true start. Today, we continue to discover creative manufacturing methods that allow us to offer more valuable and important material than mere plastic films and metal foils based on many unique ideas. Currently, we are moving onto new stages, such as carbon nanotubes and food, centered around film processing. It was from here where our new creativity started.
