- Introduction of business content and product/technology outline
We handle businesses related to surveying. We mainly work with 3D laser scanner measurement, photogrammetry, GNSS surveying, general surveys, measurement control and engineering design. In photo survey, we use both aerial photographs and photographs shot on the ground to convert the objects into 3D data. We work with mapping the shape of objects. In 3D laser measurement, we convert 3D objects into 3D data without touching the objects. In addition to mapping and modeling, our technologies are also utilized in assessment of new installations/renewals and maintenance in various areas. For GNSS surveying, We employ the positioning method that uses radio waves sent from satellites. We offer surveying services of locations that were previously impossible to survey with conventional techniques. We apply GNSS surveys on a wide range of areas, including control point surveying and site surveys.
Overview of main products and technologies
In general surveys, we perform control point surveying, leveling surveys, route surveying, site surveying and overall surveys. In civil engineering design, we work with design for infrastructure maintenance, strength study of existing structures and research and examination of special-purpose vehicles, among other tasks. With measurement management, ground deformation is consistently being monitored during ground improvement works, using the DO system and automatic tracking the overall station. In addition, we conduct research on the method to create 3D images from photogrammetry (3D surveying) with our unique photography techniques, including those using drones.

Through surveying, we have engaged in many other operations. For example, we have been challenging a number of related operations, including operations related to the traffic of special-purpose vehicles, measurement management work, research work for road accessories, mountain surveys accompanied by gravity electromagnetic exploration, water level management work, technician dispatching business for surveys at construction sites, and civil engineering and design work. Using most advanced surveying techniques utilizing 3D laser scanners, we have been performing site surveying three dimensionally, as well as analysis of photogrammetry, since 2012. We conduct research on the method to create 3D images from photogrammetry (3D surveying) using our unique photography techniques, including use of drones. We are a pioneer in 3D surveying and have substantial expertise in analysis. Against this backdrop, we proactively adapt new technologies and seek ways to utilize them in our current operations, aiming to improve operation efficiency and ensure our employees work in a safe environment, as well as to reform their awareness.
