Business areas and features
Our main business involves radio communications and radiation monitoring systems. We developed high-precision indoor positioning and similar techniques ahead of our competition. We are currently developing and selling radio sensor network systems designed mainly for environmental and healthcare purposes. This is done by combining low-power radio networks with existing telecommunications technology. We manufacture and sell piezoelectric sensors, microwave sensors, and the like as products.
Overview of main products and technologies
Our radio communications systems monitor the positions and traffic of people and objects by using the Anshin Mimamori emergency notification system and other parts of the ZigBee sensor network, which contributes to various business segments. Our instrument shelters for radiation-measuring instruments as part of a radiation monitoring system consist of cordless phones installed in a mesh and a main phone that binds them together. The noncontact sensors we supply in our healthcare system business obtain respiratory rates, pulse rates, and other vital signs to affectionately watch over elderly people living alone as well as people in nursing-care homes.

It will be imperative to establish various communications and sensor technologies to use high-quality information anytime, anywhere, and at low cost in the coming society of multimedia telecommunications and ubiquitous networking. Our company was established in September 2001 as a venture company by The University of Electro-Communications to achieve this. We conduct research in GPS and other positioning technologies under the university's supervision. We aim to realize indoor navigation via indoor positioning, and combine this core technology with existing telecommunications technology in our plan to do business in various fields.
