Uewaki & Co. is a towel manufacturer and retailer located in Imabari City, Ehime Pref.

Our company was founded more than half a century ago in Imabari, which is famous for towels, and we are continually working to be innovative while also feeling the pull of history.
We manufacture not only Imabari brand towels and organic towels but also merchandise of other companies and sports, music, and animation-themed towel products.
In addition to towel products, we are manufacturing and selling various textile products, such as apparel and cloth products.
We are also challenging ourselves to research and developt special textiles with the support of many companies.
Our company has strengths in unique material development (patented).
We have the top-level weaving technology in the industry and provide merchandise to major manufacturers in and outside Japan (textile, cosmetics, sports, and amusement industries).

Our company has OCS accreditation. 
- Proof of reliability -　About OCS Certificate
Our company receives the examination and certifications of third-party organizations to ensure higher product reliability and pursue consumer security and safety.
The requirements for OCS certification are as follows. Only after these requirements are satisfied will final products be permitted to bear the logo mark  indicating certification.
■Use of organic cotton produced according to the EU Council rules and the certification standards approved by National Organic Program of US Department of Agriculture (USDA/NOP) and International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM)
■Percentage of organic raw materials contained: 5% or more for OCS Blended and 95% or more for OCS 100
■Maintenance of traceability (possibility of tracking production and distribution histories)
■These certifications examine not only the eraw cotton and the products, but also the management system of the factory or processing plant.
About the OCS Certificate logo mark
For OCS Certificate, there are two kinds of logos - the OCS 100  and OCS Blended.
OCS Blended is for products (excluding foods) containing 5% or more organic raw materials. 
OCS 100 is for products (excluding foods) containing 95% or more organic raw materials.
When selling with the logos as certified products, it is necessary to acquire certificate for all processes at the factory, processing plant, and warehouse where the products are manufactured from raw cotton.
