We are a manufacturer that specializes in the design and manufacture high-quality industrial pumps for shipbuilding, as well as for land-based (various factory pumps) and environmental applications (water treatment pumps).
The pumps’ function is to “transport” fluids. The pumps transport gases, such as air or fuel gas, or liquids, such as water or oil, at the volume and speed needed for each application. Our products also include things like vacuum pumps, which extract air. Taiko Kikai Industries Co., Ltd. positions itself as a comprehensive manufacturer of fluid transfer equipment.
In recent years, we have been actively working on the development of pumps with energy-saving and high-efficiency capabilities and pumps that improve lake water quality to meet the needs of the times.

Maritime pumps 
Features of TAIKO’s maritime pumps
We offer various types of pumps that are used onboard ships for applications such as pumping fuel oil, lubricant oil, and cooling water and for sewage treatment and cargo handling. Each of the products that we produce at Taiko Kikai satisfies different high-level performance requirements for pumps for ship use, including robustness, efficiency, energy saving, and durability.
In the unlikely event of a defect, our system provides prompt support at the next port of call, and we offer a proper maintenance system that includes regular parts replacement.
TAIKO brand marine pumps are high value-added products from Japan that meet the requirements of ship owners and are presently used by a large number of ships as they navigate the seven seas.
Marine oil-water separators
The USH series is a state-of-the-art marine oil-water separator that comes with a long-life high-performance coalescer that can process not only high specific gravity oils but also emulsions that cannot be processed using conventional coalescers.

Marine sewage-treatment equipment
Our SBH series of marine sewage-treatment equipment for ships is a range of compact, high-performance water treatment systems that were developed by consolidating existing sewage treatment technology.
The SBH series can be installed on all vessels with a gross tonnage of 400 GT or more or 15 passengers or more as defined by MARPOL 73/78 Convention ANNEX IV and are simple to operate and maintain.
