Business Activities
In-plant Painting
Our factory painting division began operation in 1979 as the Usami Shokai Co., Ltd., Hassamu Plant, located in the Hassamu Ironwork Park in Nishi ward, Sapporo. Subsequently, with the expansion of our business, the plant moved to  Ishikari City's Ishikari Shinko Machinery and Metal Park in 1991, and continues to operate to this day as our Ishikari Plant. As a specialized anti-rust and anti-corrosion plant, we make full use of various state-of-the-art equipment and technologies, receiving wide support from the steel processing industry, the machine manufacturing industry, and the construction industry.
On-site Painting
In the fifty years since our founding, we have performed on-site painting,for preventing rust on steel structures. During this time, we have worked on more than 900 projects, principally performing bridge painting as a general contractor for the Hokkaido Development Bureau and public works projects in Hokkaido and elsewhere. The construction management techniques that we have cultivated over many years have proven useful not only for on-site construction but also for the planning, drafting, surveying, and design of rust and corrosion prevention work.
Metal Spraying
Spraying refers to a method in which such as metals, ceramics, and plastics are melted using a heat source, after which the molten particles, atomized with compressed air, are sprayed onto a material at high speed and allowed to set, forming a continuous coating. 
This spraying method can be applied to a wide range of use cases. As well as the development of heat sources and materials, the improvement of management techniques and the development of construction methods are expected to open up new frontiers in the field of anti-corrosion as a surface treatment technique. 
[Features of metal spraying]
■ The principle behind corrosion protection is electrochemical sacrificial corrosion protection, which enables steel materials to have a longer lifespan. 
■ It is easy to apply spray coatings tailored to the corrosive environment. 
■ The equipment can be moved, and application performed either in-plant or on-site.
■ There is no limit to the size of the components to be sprayed. 
■ It is possible to easily process the surface of steel materials without distortion due to heat. 
■ The thickness of the spray coating can be freely chosen as needed. 
■ There is no hydrogen embrittlement. 
■ The surface of the coating is suitable as a base layer for further coating.
