[Company strength]
We are strengthening our functions for development, consignment research, and agricultural guidance as features differentiating us from other companies. Our company conducts research for all-weather plant factory development and agriculture-welfare linkages endorsed by joint research with the Kindai University Faculty of Agriculture. We conduct consignment research such as cultivation tests by employees with chemical and agricultural expertise. We also provide technical guidance on vegetable and fruit cultivation using polyester fiber media and mushroom cultivation using mushroom beds made from paper sludge.

[Business description]
Our company develops all-weather plant factories, cultivation systems suitable for agriculture-welfare linkages, and lightweight culture media in industry-university joint research with the Kinki University Faculty of Agriculture. We develop lightweight culture media mainly made of polyester fibers or paper sludge to replace soil. We also develop vegetable and fruit cultivation technology using lightweight culture media. Our business includes developing edible fungus cultivation technology using paper sludge instead of logs or sawdust for mushroom beds. This technology is targeted at shiitake mushrooms, Yamabushitake mushrooms, and ordinary mushrooms. We also provide agricultural guidance and conduct research on consignment.

[Representative's message]
Our basic philosophy is to establish new agribusiness and achieve comfort, cleanness, and health. We are promoting lightweight cultivation media made of polyester fibers to solve the issues of an aging society and a shortage of successors. This also assists with universal agriculture for agriculture-welfare linkages. We are promoting the development of mushroom beds based on paper sludge instead of logs or sawdust. We will actively make use of J-GoodTech to continue to look for partner companies capable of further improving and promoting this technology.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We are thinking of extending the use of polyester fiber cultivation media throughout Japan through the agricultural materials and rooftop greening industries. We are looking for companies who can help us further promote sales. We are thinking of overseas expansion for our mushroom cultivation mushroom beds based on paper sludge after we extend their use in Japan. The domestic Japanese companies we have in mind are ones with large-scale production at mushroom factories. This includes companies as well as corporate and general producers facing production cost pressure due to the recent rise in the price of mushroom beds made from broadleaf tress. This also includes companies in the paper industry who can agree to our idea of using paper sludge for food production.
