Business description and characteristics
Our company owns technology that allows machines to freely control delicate force and touch. For companies that are considering introducing Keio University's patented technology “Real-Haptics,” we conduct interviews on the current issues faced and propose technology applications for solving them, providing an “AbcCore” IC chip equipped with Real-Haptics. With Real-Haptics, we will help improve the quality of life for the next generation by increasing locations in which the machines are used and enhancing productivity in society as a whole.
Main product/technology outline
"AbcCore" is a haptic force controller equipped with the world's highest level haptic force technology, "Real-haptics." It measures the load force of a motor without a force sensor or force gauge, but still controls the force. In addition to the control function for position, speed, and force (motion control), you can easily communicate haptic force between twp remote locations (bilateral control) by connecting two motors to AbcCore and synchronizing each other's motion instantaneously. Besides, there is no need to install a force sensor or torque sensor as the load on the motors is calculated with an estimation algorithm. Since it allows you to convert force into data while controlling the motor, you can not only replace expensive force sensors but also record and reproduce the force of a machine or robot.
