[Company strength] The kitchen knives in our Wa-NAGOMI Series have beautiful hand-fitting shapes designed under the theme of modern Japanese harmony. The handles and edges of the knives are manually finished piece-by-piece by craftsmen. We manufacture products with a wish for making it enjoyable to use kitchen knives and producing harmony in the home and between people through cooking. Our pocket knives are also highly evaluated in terms of technology. We developed a special knife in collaboration with four Japanese companies. Even seawater does not rust it. This knife has been adopted as a survival knife for US marines and navy pilots. [Business description] We are a cutlery manufacturer established by the great-grandfather of the current president in 1873. Our company is based in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, which is one of the world’s three major cutlery-producing areas. We provide in-house manufacturing, and in 1986 we were the first in the industry to advance overseas and started production in the Philippines and China. We have been establishing a business model of sales in large-scale markets in the West. We have been releasing home cutlery products under our in-house Wa-NAGOMI Series brand since 2015. Our products have also been taken up by TV programs and magazines. We will increase our sales mainly to the high-end market of Japan as well as stores handling our products. We are studying overseas sales at the same time as our next target.
