Submicron grinding processing techniques. We provide our customers with every type of stable quality precision shafts for DVD/HDD motors, vibration motors for cellular phones, medical devices, and semiconductor devices.
Grinding We are capable of submicron-level precision processing. Centerless grinding Outer diameter: 0.0002 mm or less, Surface roughness: 0.0002 mm or less, Roundness: 0.0001 mm or less Plane grinding Perpendicularity: 0.001 mm or less, Surface roughness: RY 1.0 μ or less R grinding Surface roughness: RY 0.3 μ or less Super finish grinding Surface roughness: RY 0.2 μ or less Resin grinding We process the inner and outer diameters to submicron levels of precision. Surface roughness: 0.0008 mm or less, Roundness: 0.0008 mm or less Turning We are capable of micron-level precision processing. Heat treatment Bright continuous quenching furnace Vacuum quenching furnace We set our processing time so as to achieve both hardness and toughness. Subzero treatment This process achieves a high degree of hardness and stabilization. Nitriding The quench-hardened layer has a thickness of 1 mm or less. High-frequency quenching furnace The surface is heated inside the high-frequency coil. Carburization quenching furnace This quenching process is conducted inside a carburizer. Surface treatment Passivation Antirust treatment of SU303 and 304. Barrel processing Surface roughness processing (processing to achieve the desired surface roughness) Antirust treatment Electroless nickel plating Alumina–silicaless processing When this processing is performed on spindle motors or HDDs, it removes alumina–silica, which is considered to be a harmful substance. Surface roughness processing of specified areas This enables controlling the surface roughness within a specified area. It is effective in preventing metal seizure and the reduction of energy consumption. Micro-diameter processing At Shinwa Seikou’s world-class engineering department, we have several equipment that cannot be found elsewhere.
