Sakai Seisakusho Co., Ltd.

Other presentation

[Company strength]
Our company is devoted to product development and manufacturing under the basic philosophy of providing excellent function elements. Our belt-type continuously variable transmissions were born from this philosophy, and they feature smooth transmission and excellent durability. Their unlubricated mechanism that resists fretting corrosion makes the products maintenance-free. Our core technologies are our power transmission know-how and fretting corrosion method. Automatic positioning equipment must have excellent universality, high rigidity, low inertia, and high speed and accuracy. We make use of our technologies to develop shaft couplings for such equipment. We can apply mechanical element theory to create unique products that satisfy market needs. This is our advantage.

[Business description]
Our company started to manufacture and sell belt-type continuously variable transmissions in 1950. These maintenance-free, durable transmissions have become highly appreciated and popular in the fields of fibers, foods, packages, and civil engineering. We possess know-how about power transmission and fretting corrosion prevention. We have been making the most of our know-how to develop, manufacture, and sell shaft couplings since 1986. Our products are now used for semiconductor and LCD manufacturing and in various other fields. These fields include machine tools, main shafts, medical devices, optical equipment, robots, transfer devices, and ship engine equipment. We have acquired many intellectual property assets, good design awards, and invention awards through the development of these products. We are also active in industry-university collaboration, including joint research with universities.

Power transmission equipment manufacturing

[Representative's message]
Our company started to manufacture and sell belt-type continuously variable transmissions in 1950. We adopted a lubricant-sealed mechanism to prevent fretting corrosion and make the product maintenance-free. This mechanism helped us to continue to increase our sales. We went on to develop a shaft coupling with precision correction based on our fretting corrosion prevention method. We also developed a precision spring-shaft coupling for high-performance automatic control and a precision fixed-shaft coupling seeking high-precision coupling. Our basic philosophy is to provide excellent function elements. We will also make use of J-GoodTech to create products that satisfy needs for high precision and quality. We will be a company that contributes to society’s development.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Our company has its head office in Nagoya and a sales office in each of Tokyo and Osaka. Sales staff at each office ascertain needs and issues directly from local users and provide appropriate solutions. We always have dedicated staff for exports at our head office to receive orders and respond to inquiries from overseas. Our staff can handle overseas transactions and technical inquiries in English. You can browse product data and troubleshooting information on our website. You can also download 2D and 3D CAD data.
