[Company strength] In the field of HIP (hot isostatic pressing) treatment for regenerating metals into high-density, low-defect strong materials, we are proud that our equipment, which includes 16 HIP devices, is of the largest scale in Japan and the second-largest in the world. Such a huge investment is extraordinary for an SME considering the global technological trend. We are now capable of even larger-product manufacturing and larger-volume production, and can meet the demands in the Asian region, as well as other regions of the world. [Business description] We conduct heat treatment of metal parts, metal and ceramic bonding, HIP treatment, metal and ceramic sintering, electron beam welding and assembly, superplastic forming, additive manufacturing, simulation and analysis, and precision machining. We manufacture combustor parts for gas turbines for power generation, and parts for semiconductor and liquid crystal manufacturing devices. We also machine jet engine parts, and manufacture molded parts for fuselages. We manufacture and machine key parts for high-tech industries as a technical partner of leading companies. [Industry] Metal working [Representative's message] In our accelerator business promotion project (A-Pro), we designed and manufactured various products in-house, and delivered them to the neutron experimental facility of J-PARC in Tokai Village, Ibaraki Prefecture. This includes vacuum scattering tanks and other devices. We actively participate in national projects, such as the joint thermonuclear fusion project with seven nations (ITER plan) and the XMASS research experiment conducted at the Kamioka Observatory, Institute for Cosmic Ray Research, University of Tokyo to search for dark matter with a detector using liquid xenon. This research is an extension of the work by Dr. Koshiba, a Nobel prize winner. We give high priority to this project. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] We are a designated service provider for JT8D aircraft engines and we are one of the few Japanese companies certified by Pratt & Whitney, a leading aircraft engine manufacturer in the U.S.. We plan to expand the aircraft engine repair business in the world market in the future. Our technologies are used in many fields, including precision machinery, automotive, aerospace, energy, liquid crystal and semiconductor manufacturing, electricity and electronics, medical equipment, accelerators, and nuclear fusion.
