[Company strength]
Our company excels at mold design and manufacturing as well as leaf spring manufacturing. We perform trial manufacturing and mass production of automotive electrical parts, home electronics appliances, and the like. We process new materials such as shape-memory alloys, titanium alloys, and Inconel. We provided β-type titanium springs used for opening/closing parts of antennas of the Kiku 8 satellite. The strength of these springs is equal to that of stainless steel with about 65% less weight. We have also provided clips using leaf springs made of heat- and corrosion-resistant Inconel alloy (creep rupture at about 700 °C) for pinching liquid crystal glass.


[Business description]
Our basic technologies are manufacturing technologies for leaf and wire springs (for our own products and products for contract manufacturing). We process new materials such as shape-memory alloys, Inconel, titanium, and nickel alloys. We also develop and manufacture medical equipment and robot actuators. We have developed medical equipment such as dental implants and artificial hip joints. This was done by combining our technologies for processing shape-memory and titanium alloys with the ELID (mirror grinding) method developed by the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (RIKEN).

[Representative's message]
Our medical equipment includes bidirectional stents made of shape-memory alloys for ensuring flow in auxiliary artificial hearts, organs, and blood vessels. We also apply ELID (mirror grinding) technologies to supply dental implants for dental implant treatment, artificial hip joints, net structures, and forceps with movable tips. We make use of using our cleanrooms (Class 1,000 and 10,000) to perform prototype development and OEM production of medical equipment made of shape-memory or titanium alloys.


[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Our company has developed actuators as functional parts that operate according to changes in temperature and energization. We combined shape-memory alloy springs with springs made of different materials to develop these products. We also sell shape-memory alloy materials. Shape-memory alloys are used for various purposes. These include adhering work for lids in a vacuum and columns for systems (independent power source-type battery columns). They are used for objects in which shape memory and super-elastic properties are applied to bag opening/closing, and generators using waste heat and waste water. Other applications include ventilating holes with shape memory properties, transformable objects (lighting equipment), super-elastic stents for the trachea and bronchial tubes, and wireless heat sensors.

Our company holds many patents. These include a nail correcting device (Japanese Unexamined Patent Application No. 2017-018382) and curved tubes, their manufacturing method and various devices equipped with them (Japanese Unexamined Patent Application No. 2015-047453). We have filed joint patent applications with Advanced Softmaterials Inc., Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and other companies.
