[Company strength]
Our fruit caps are characterized by light weight, space saving, proper cushioning characteristic, air permeability, water permeability, pastel colors, etc. In the film business, standard thickness is 30 to 500 microns. We take finely-tuned responses to customer demands for material selection, surface shape, etc. This includes us making proposals. We conduct joint development to productize high-functionality films. We also conduct prototype development. 


[Business description]
We started business by manufacturing and selling foamed products as cushioning materials necessary for packing fruits, wine bottles, etc. in boxes in 1968 in Tokyo. Our company, including the head office, was then moved to its present location in Kumamoto Prefecture in 1987 in order to construct a large-scale production plant. We mainly conduct two kinds of business. In the fruit cap business, we deal in foamed products as cushioning materials for fruits, etc. In the film business, we deal in polycarbonate resin thin films which we developed by ourselves, utilizing our original technologies. We have physical distribution bases in Osaka and Yamanashi, in addition to Kumamoto, so we can rapidly deliver products to customers all over Japan.

[Representative's message]
We are a proposal-based company. We have provided products to customers in a wide variety of fields, while applying extrusion foam molding technologies and high-functionality resin film manufacturing technologies using mainly polycarbonate. We have thus gained their favor. The 2016 Kumamoto earthquakes in April 2016 struck, causing anxiety to customers all over Japan and greatly troubling them. It took us about three months to restore production lines. We, however, used this misfortune as a good opportunity for taking a bold leap, and will endeavor to go forward undaunted. We look forward to having opportunities for getting acquainted with new customers via J-GoodTech. We will thus develop new markets. 


[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We have only five persons in charge of sales, but set up our head office in Kumamoto and a branch office in Tokyo. The staff of these offices respond to a wide variety of customer demands. We also have physical distribution bases in Osaka and Yamanashi, in addition to Kumamoto. We thus established a system for rapidly delivering products to customers all over Japan. We cannot presently directly respond to overseas market demand. We plan to enter into partnership with cooperative companies, collect information of uses and materials, and thus develop overseas markets.

We hold ISO 9001: 2006 certification. We acquired Green Partner Certification (2016). 
We were subsidized by Kumamoto Prefecture’s Restoration and Maintenance Subsidy Project for Facilities of Small and Medium Enterprise Groups (2016).
