[Company strength]
We have an integrated system that covers all operations ranging from marketing to product planning, development, production, quality assurance, sale, and maintenance service (repair). We work with a partner company that has service sites at 60 locations throughout the country to provide our maintenance service. We have fifty expert engineers specialized in mechatronics, electronics and software. They share information among technical fields to ensure high consistency in requirements definition, basic concept, design and production to ensure that development and manufacturing closely matches the intended purpose and to minimize the lead time from development to production.


[Business description]
We were established as a telegraph manufacturer in 1937 in Tokyo (and our head office factory moved to Ishinomaki city in 1945). Currently one of our major businesses is the manufacture of bill conveying equipment and other systems for amusement centers. Other businesses include manufacturing of automatic bankbook keeping machines, parking ticket issuing machines and other devices in the mechatronics field. We also operate in the medical and nursing care equipment industry and manufacture oxygen concentrating devices, toilets with an automatic seat-covering system, and other equipment of our own, based on our integrated production system that covers manufacturing as well as development and maintenance. In addition, we conduct development and manufacturing based on commissioned contract (OEM) and partial commissioned production (such as substrate mounting).

[Representative's message]
The amusement business once accounted for more than half our profits. This profit structure was relatively susceptible to market fluctuations. We therefore needed to increase the ratio of our mechatronic and medical equipment businesses, including bankbook printers and other devices of our own development in order to ensure business stability. Particularly in the medical equipment business, we started to invest more resources in development and manufacture in 2017 to establish a system for accepting new orders based on OEM agreements. The sustainable prosperity of our business depends on these three major businesses. We intend to establish a well-balanced business structure that is resistant to external factors, such as market trends and customer demands, and a corporate system that can efficiently distribute resources.


[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Our sales system is composed of two sales departments staffed with 11 members. Eight of them are in charge of domestic operations, while 2 are in charge of overseas operations. The domestic sales base is located at our head office in Hanamaki, while we have a branch organization in Tokyo. For maintenance, we work with Shinko Service Inc. which has a nationwide network of 60 service sites throughout the country. Our major overseas sales sites are located mainly in East Asia (Thailand, Singapore, and Taiwan) and Europe (Spain and Portugal). Each site is operated by its own local system integrator and sells our products. We also serve as OEM for overseas manufacturers.
