Jukes Co., Ltd.
We develop technologies for low-platinum fuel cell electrode catalysts through academic-industrial collaboration.
We perform assembly and inspection of electrical devices, including cell phones and their components, prototypes, and portable navigation products. We inspect the functions (both electrical and mechanical) and external appearance of these devices. Through academic-industrial collaboration, we are also developing technologies for reducing the platinum in fuel cell electrode catalysts and for their mass-production, along with developing our own products. We focus on these technologies as they are expected to be used in a wide range of applications such as for cars, homes, and distributed power generation systems.
Other presentation
[Company strength] Our human resources include highly experienced people who previously worked on the production lines of manufacturers in and outside Japan. We utilize these skills in the small-lot manufacturing of our main products, such as electrical devices and cellphones, and in the manufacturing of their initial mass-production versions. These manufacturing processes are subject to strict requirements for turnaround, quality, and cost. Also, as part of our efforts to enter new business sectors, we manufacture and sell our own oxygen generator products. In addition, we are developing technologies for fuel cell electrode catalysts through academic-industrial collaboration. These fuel cell related technologies are expected to be used in a wide range of applications such as for cars, homes, and distributed power generation systems. This is why we focus on them, aiming to lower the prices through the collaborative project and to publicize our technical development capabilities. [Business description] Our company mainly performs assembly and inspection of electrical devices, including cellphones and their components, prototypes, and portable navigation products. We inspect the functions (both electrical and mechanical) and external appearance of these devices. In addition, we offer sales, installation, and after-sales servicing of solar power systems and all-electric systems. As part of our efforts to penetrate new fields, we manufacture and sell our own oxygen generator products. We are also involved in academic-industrial collaboration utilizing the experience and technologies fostered through our electrical equipment business, etc. We are currently working on the development of technologies for reducing the platinum in fuel cell electrode catalysts and for their mass-production. This project is being conducted under the Strategic Core Technology Advancement Program of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. [Industry] Electronic parts and products assembly and inspection [Representative's message] We actively keep up with the current trends and promptly respond to changes, aiming to be a company that is trusted and needed by customers and the local community. We believe that the Japanese people’s unique sensibility and capability to flexibly respond to changes and variations is the key to survival for Japanese manufacturers. Our company faithfully provides customer trust and satisfaction based on our main strength: skilled human resources. We will continue to develop our own products in addition to working on our current main products, and identify the needs of new customers through J-GoodTech. We offer tireless efforts, sincerity, and flexibility, regardless of the scale or duration of work. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] We have marketing personnel for expanding our sales channels, and we actively participate in exhibitions and other events in Japan to reach new customers. We are currently working on developing and manufacturing our own products in addition to our main business of assembling and inspecting electronic devices, etc. We will strengthen marketing and expand sales channels, not only in Japan but also overseas.
