[Company strength]
[Products] Our main products are mirrors that are made using techniques for bending thin glass. We mass-produce mirrors for automobiles, colored mirrors, reflective mirrors for precision machinery, glass using special processing, and so on using our integrated production system. We perform three inspections: curvature inspection, visual inspection, and appearance inspection by eye.
[Techniques] We excel at water-repellent finishing for molds. We use our coating processing technique for mold release to form molds that do not require maintenance. We perform vacuum evaporation of triazine thiol for mold surfaces to improve pollution resistance and durability. Our products do not affect dimensional accuracy or profile regularity because they are less than 0.1 µm thick. We respond to demands from various companies for diverse materials and products including parts of AI robots and molds for plastic products.


[Business description]
Our company entered the vacuum evaporation business in Narashino City, Chiba Prefecture in 1963. We transferred our entire production department to our Iwate factory in 1990. We are the only mirror manufacturing company in the Tohoku region with technology for bending thin glass. We manufacture optical mirrors and rear-view mirrors for automobiles and perform special processing of glass in large quantities. Our decorative mirrors and high value-added products with hydrophilic coating that are made using vacuum evaporation processing techniques are used for luxury cars in Japan. We are committed to development, and succeeded in applying a coating processing technique for mold release by a vacuum evaporation processing technique in 2008. We have delivered several hundred products including parts of AI robots and molds for plastic products in Japan.

We strive to meet customer needs based on reliable technologies and flexible thinking so that customers choose us as an indispensable partner. We aim for the best proposals and new needs, considering quality as a mirror that reflects technologies.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We supply products in Japan and worldwide. We have a sales base in our headquarters in Iwate and a branch office in Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture, and respond to customer needs quickly. The president leads our sales force and identifies various customer needs for products and technologies. The president and our engineers actively make proposals, especially for technical challenges.
