[Company strength]
We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of castor oil, which is a recyclable natural resource, and has maintained a stable supply for over 70 years since our foundation. The major component of castor oil is a triglyceride of ricinoleic acid and a special fatty acid with a double linked hydroxyl group. Especially outstanding characteristics are diverse reactivity and high ricinoleic acid concentration. Chemical reactions convert it to various industrial raw materials such as low-viscosity drying oil, wax, or sebacic acid. Reacting castor oil with isocyanate produces polyurethane resin. This is widely used in insulation sealing and adhesives because of its high safety and water resistance.


[Business description]
We supply refined and deodorized castor oil to users in and out of Japan. We also produce various materials that utilize the chemical characteristics of castor oil, including paint additives, ink additives, raw materials for lubricants, raw materials for cutting oil, and polyols for urethane resins. We are one of Japan’s largest factories that use castor oil. We produce and deliver a variety of products for our customers that utilize our castor oil production technology.

We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of castor oil, which is a recyclable natural resource, and has been stably supplied for over 70 years since our foundation. We do our best to develop unique products made of castor oil. Since our products are extremely safe for humans and small environmental loads, they are used in various fields including medicine, ships and vehicles, building materials, civil engineering and home use. We will introduce our products to different fields and create new values through the J-GoodTech network.


[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We are reinforcing our sales channel expansion through our Chinese subsidiary, in Shanghai. We will conduct local commissioned production in the future. We work hard to swiftly meet our customer’s needs, wherever they are in the world. We are reinforcing the application of our products to new fields in Japan with their unique features. We established a sales company as a joint venture with a major Indian castor oil manufacturer. As a result, we are reinforcing our sales in countries other than China.
