Our company was spun off from the National Institute of Information and Communication Technology (NICT) as a business venture for developing an optical element that displays images in an empty space.
Our company is a spin-off venture based on the results of research at NICT. We conduct R&D on a next-generation imaging technology called “air floating images”. We have developed the world’s first “Parity Mirror” which displays an image made by, for example, a liquid crystal display in an empty space by only insertion. We have also developed a “Floating Touch Panel Display” that can be used by touching the floating image with a finger in combination with sensors. We are conducting many activities including selling and lending Parity Mirrors, built-in designing into equipment, and developing application products to enable floating images to be used in living spaces.
[Product description] “Parity Mirror” is an image-forming optical element that displays an image in combination with, for example, a liquid crystal display in an empty space by only insertion. The image can be observed naturally without having to wear glasses, and creates a realistic sensation in full color without distortion. This is a next-generation imaging technology that can create expressiveness in SF movies and animations.
