[Company strength]
Regarding metal working, we can conduct cutting, secondary working, and grinding of items measuring up to 3,800 x 5,000 mm. We also sell special steel items. We work with thermal processing and surface processing contractors and so can handle machining requests ranging from materials to completed items. In the paper container business, our paper container forming technique, developed based on many years of experience, enables us to create three-dimensional paper containers by single pressing of a single sheet of paper.

We have been conducting press working and precision component machining as a metal working company since our foundation. We also started producing molds for paper containers and the paper containers themselves using the molds, by applying our metal working know-how. We focus on developing our own products, including equipment for managing tool service life and optimizing cutting conditions, in response to requests from front-line people.

[Representative's message]
We started as a developer of pull-out rails for medical equipment and expanded our range to include roughly machined products of special steels, manufacture of molds for home electric appliances and manufacture of jigs and tools. We introduced machining centers and DNCs ahead of competitors, to enhance our technical capability. We also started producing molds for paper containers and paper containers themselves by utilizing our metal working know-how. We have an independent website for our paper container business, “Paper Container Kuramae,” to publicize the benefits of our paper containers. Through J-GoodTech, we hope to accelerate our advertising efforts.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Paper containers are our main business. In particular, our original paper container Kuramae features unprecedented quality with a classy feel thanks to its texture developed by combining various materials including Japanese paper, fabric, bamboo leaf and paper. We will develop more original products using the opinions and ideas of designers and outside people. We will participate in various exhibitions and expand the sales channels for our paper containers.

Our kusudame container was selected as a Good Design Gunma Product in 2012.
