We are applying patented technology for cancer treatment accelerators to other fields.

We offer precision machining of non-ferrous metal products, and supply these mainly to manufacturers of semiconductor devices/LCD manufacturing equipment and clinical accelerators (components of radiation cancer treatment equipment). Our machining division offers micro-level precision and can handle difficult-to-machine materials. Our bonding division uses friction stir joining to manufacture temperature control plates. Also, our products that utilize patented technology developed for accelerator manufacturing in a joint effort between industry and academia are used for advanced cancer treatment equipment. This technology has been rolled out to non-destructive testing equipment for structures etc., and we are independently developing sterilization equipment that uses an accelerator.

[Company strength]
We have technologies and a track record that allow us to meet the high level of machining precision required by manufacturers of semiconductor device/LCD manufacturing equipment, which are our main customers. We have state-of-the-art facilities such as 3D CAD/CAM and CAE, composite processing equipment, high-speed machining centers, CNC lathes, and clean rooms. We have built an integrated in-house system of production from design to machining to respond to customers’ requests with made-to-order products, allowing high-mix small-lot production and short turnarounds. Also, our accelerator division uses our original (patented) technology to deliver the world’s top-level specifications. We are continuing development to further improve energy-saving and space-saving performance.

We have been in business for 51 years, offering precision machining of non-ferrous metal products. We mainly supply precision machined parts directly to top manufacturers of semiconductor device/LCD manufacturing equipment and clinical accelerators (components of radiation cancer treatment equipment). Our machining division offers micro-level precision and can handle difficult-to-machine materials. Our bonding division uses friction stir joining to manufacture temperature control plates. Also, our accelerator division utilizes original technology (patented technology) that we developed in a joint effort between industry and academia, and supplies core parts of accelerators to major manufacturers including research institutes in and outside Japan.

[Representative's message]
The global market for radiation therapy equipment is about $4 billion, and U.S. and European businesses have a large share of the market for clinical accelerators for X-ray irradiators. Meanwhile, particle radiation therapy equipment is a therapeutic approach in which Japan is taking a lead. It is an accelerator system that puts only a small physical load on patients, allowing damage only to cancer cells. It is expected to spread in the global market as cancer treatment equipment that is made in Japan. To this end, it is necessary to miniaturize accelerators and make them more power-efficient, which would allow them to be used in more diverse uses including not only medical but also industrial applications. We will promote our accelerators, along with our technologies, in overseas markets.

In order to enhance sales channels, our two sales representatives serve as contact points for new and existing customers to quickly respond to inquiries.
We have an integrated in-house system of production from design to machining and assembly, which we use to flexibly respond to customers’ made-to-order requests.
We are enhancing sales channels in order to apply our patented 2D-integrated piping technology to various products other than existing temperature control plates.
Although we do not have overseas offices, we are building a system that will allow us to receive inquiries mainly about accelerators directly from customers for overseas expansion.
