[Company strength]
Our company has actively conducted joint research with external research institutes including Yamaguchi University and Yamaguchi Prefectural Industrial Technology Institute over the years. Through such experience, we have acquired advanced technological capabilities for metal finishing such as plating and alumite. We have developed skills by meeting requests for quality, delivery period, fees, etc. received from major companies for nearly 70 years. We have obtained JIS Q 9100 (aerospace) certification. We treat chemicals for surface finishing that require strict control and dispose of industrial waste properly.

[Business description]
We started business in 1949 and specialize in metal finishing (plating and alumite). We perform various surface finishing for products including automotive parts for Mazda Motor Corporation, lead frames for NEC Yamaguchi, Ltd., and rolling stock for Kasado Works of Hitachi, Ltd. We have recently performed various surface finishing for maintenance. This includes plating for semiconductor manufacturing machines of Hitachi High-Technologies Corporation and semiconductor examination equipment of Renesas Group.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our super-corrosion-resistant alumite technology is called “Yagimaito.” It has high hardness and high resistance to alkaline substances, and it is five times more corrosion resistant than conventional alumite coating. It also offers excellent sealing and its mass does not decrease after treatment. Furthermore, its plasma performance is 1.3 times higher than before. We have applied for a patent for the technology and presented it at an academic conference. It is a non-conventional and unique alumite coating.

We have been in business for nearly 70 years. Our business has long been based on three key policies, three departments and three main customers, keeping them in proper balance. We have overcome difficulties with our capacity for technological development and adaptation to the environment. We will target the aerospace industry to ensure sound development, focusing on “Kawamaito” as our current managerial resources will run out in 10 years.



[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We actively participate in exhibitions several times a year to win new marketing channels in Japan. We have many opportunities to directly learn the needs of customers in research and development departments. We will continue to take such opportunities to publicize our technological capabilities. Our company is striving to recruit female employees to enhance our sales capabilities. They often participate in exhibitions and engage in transactions. We will consider exporting through trading companies as needed, although we have no specific plan at present.
