Drug discovery based on virology
We aim to be the only drug discovery venture business in Japan that uses technology based on virology to develop new drugs for cancer and infectious diseases. As we promote development in the study of cancer and serious infectious diseases with our drug candidates Telomelysin® and OBP-601 (Censavudine), we are building a pipeline that encompasses early cancer detection, localized treatment of cancer in the early stages, post-operative examination, and metastatic cancer treatment by preparing Telomelysin, a new diagnostic agent to detect early stages of cancer, and conducting post-operative examinations, and conducting research into OBP-801, a new epigenetic cancer treatment.
