[Company strength]
Only a few manufacturers in Japan are dedicated to manufacturing ultra-small-diameter shafts.  We are a specialist manufacturer of small-diameter shafts and pins. Our products are highly appreciated for their quality and widely used in precision machinery and equipment industries in Japan and abroad. Our company was selected for a Monozukuri Subsidy in the medical equipment field for four continuous years from 2012. We are tackling the development of medical equipment in industry-university-government collaboration. We directly export products overseas and import materials ourselves.

[Business description]
Our company was established as a manufacturer of ultra-small-diameter shafts and pins used for automobile parts and other purposes. In 1997 we acquired licenses for manufacturing medical equipment and for manufacturing and selling medical equipment (a license for imports and sales at the time). We then began to manufacture and sell medical equipment for dental care. We conduct sales activities with emphasis on medical equipment, and now we also cooperate in catheter R&D.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Customized NC lathing for fine product machining: Our company specializes in manufacturing shafts as fine as 4 mm in diameter. We machine shafts with micron-order accuracy. We design and mass-produce equipment for one-chuck execution of complicated machining, such as drilling 0.8-mm middle holes and 0.4-mm oblique holes, surface polishing, and V-shaped cutting.
Hydrogen-atmosphere heat treatment furnace: We can thermally treat shafts as fine as 0.3 mm in diameter without bending.
Other processing: We possess in-house equipment for many processes. This includes diamond electrodeposition, pure-gold plating, centrifugal barrel polishing, injection molding, pad printing, and laser marking. We achieve stable quality and excellent cost performance with integrated manufacturing.

Our business philosophy is to secure quality that our customers trust and feel satisfied with, and to contribute to society by providing products that are acceptable in the global market. We are further improving the technologies we have cultivated to date and manufacture products that  satisfy customer requests. We also actively engage in lecture activities. We consider lecture events put on by public organizations to be opportunities to let many attendees know about our technologies and efforts.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We are enthusiastically cultivating sales channels by exhibiting our products and participating in discussions at exhibitions for customers in Japan and abroad. We are also considering efficient planned production by handling incoming and outgoing orders under an in-house system linking production management and order reception and placement information. We have unofficially determined to advance full-scale sales of medical equipment overseas in collaboration with a sales company. We are targeting overseas sales equivalent to domestic Japanese sales in 2030.

[Market share/Ranking]
There are about 80,000 dental clinics in Japan, and 60,000 are using our medical equipment. There is demand for 700,000 recording media pins in the Japanese market, and we provide 500,000 of them.

Dental Scalpel (Japanese Unexamined Patent Application No. 2004-312451), jointly invention and patent application with Professor Toshikazu Akashi of Nihon University School of Dentistry.
