[Company strength]
Human resources are our strength. We believe that quality and reliability for customers are obtained by not only production facilities, but also the ideas of our staff, and the technology and experience to implement those ideas. To cultivate employees who think for themselves and take action, we began working on improvement activities eight years ago, and the number of proposals now exceeds 5,000. We acquired ISO 9001 certification on the basis of such activities, and evaluate the skills of each individual every year, thereby raising their skills. Our corporate culture in which employees not only do what they are asked, but also think and act by themselves, is highly evaluated by our customers.

[Business description]
For more than 65 years since its establishment, our company has handled everything from processing to assembly and delivery of medium- and large-scale facilities and members, particularly architectural steel, bridge members, construction machinery, industrial machinery and plants. We currently perform this work at our Hassamu Plant (fusing by gas, plasma and laser processing machines) and Ishikari Plant (press processing, roll processing, bending processing, and general canning and welding processing).

[Strength of products/technologies]
We do not produce fixed products since we produce under contract at the request of each customer. Our strength is our ability to handle any specifications and propose solutions through consultation. We make the most appropriate proposal based on a good understanding of the processing properties of materials accumulated through more than 60 years of experience. Another strength is that we make utmost effort to fulfill customers’ requests, such as manufacturing in-house processing machines and metal molds if necessary.

[Representative's message]
We have constructed and expanded a processing system for general steel materials such as SS material, based on three key activities: (1) steel plate cutting, (2) steel plate/shaped steel bending, and (3) weld assembly of steel structure. We used not to have cutting equipment for processing stainless steel materials, so we performed only bending and weld assembly of such materials. However, we introduced a 4-kW laser cutting machine last year for cutting stainless steel, and built a three-function system of cutting, bending and welding of stainless steel. We will promote our production system to plant manufacturers and machine manufacturers in the water processing and food industries which use much stainless steel, and thus expand our business.



[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Currently we sell mainly to existing customers, and new businesses identified by eight staff, but we intend to upgrade our website and utilize J-GoodTech to attract new customers. We have assigned a person to handle inquiries quickly, in addition to making information available on the Internet. It is crucial to form relationships of trust with customers.
