We are expanding our functional thin film treatment business in Japan and overseas.

We conduct consignment surface treatment processing in various fields. This includes Alumite treatment and Alodine treatment for housing-related parts such as doorknobs and exterior plating for semiconductor lead frame (Sn-Bi plating, pure Sn plating). We also conduct various kinds of plating for in-vehicle parts. Our TRI System is a technology for joining metal and resin. Its applications heat insulation and dissipation parts for servomotors, lens mount portions in cameras, caps of FCV (fuel cell vehicle) capacitors, and smartphone housings. Our products are highly evaluated for their joining strength and excellent sealing properties.

Outline of Technology
Bonding agents or resin catches for machining used to be necessary for ordinary insert molding because there is no joining mechanism on the metal and resin joining faces. Insert molding also has disadvantages in that gaps are produced on joining faces and there is no mechanical strength.
Our TRI System® realizes strong, uniform bonding by producing joining mechanisms (chemical couplings) on metal surfaces. You can freely create designs without complicated processing on joining faces or shape restrictions. The TRI System® also exhibits excellent sealing and resistance against pressure, water, oil, and heat.
1. Solid joining strength
A joining film formed by metal surface treatment strongly joins metal and resin. This produces joining strength not comparable with inter-molecular coupling by bonding agents.
2. High sealing property 
Metal and resin are evenly joined, so high airtightness can be produced.
3. Complicated shapes are unnecessary
Even simple shapes can be joined, so design without shape restrictions is possible.

TIER coating
Outline of Technology
Our TIER Coat® enables transparent epoxy resin forming without using a mold release agent. This is a film of about 30 nm thick that is very easy to remove from a mold. This mold-release film was developed on the concept of film where transparent epoxy resin does not stick. This film exhibits a mold release effect for transparent epoxy resin, and also for bonding resin such as silicone resin or urethane resin.
A more excellent mold release effect compared with thermosetting resin is available for thermoplastic resin that is easier to release from a mold.
1. The film is thin but has excellent mold release characteristics.
2. Deposition to complicated shapes is good and products with good mold shape transferability are available.
3. The film exhibits strong adhesion to a mold by chemical coupling.
4. The film has enough durability to withstand practical use.
5. Molds can be reused because recoating is possible.
6. Environmentally hazardous materials are not used.
7. The film has water-repelling and slippery properties.

GT STORM (Mg material and aluminum anode oxide film)
Outline of Technology
We realize a beautiful appearance with surface treatment only, and without coating.
Surface treatment eliminates melt flow and lines unique to die casting and realizes a black and white appearance.
1. Coating process unnecessary
Coating is unnecessary because Mg and Al alloys can be made black or white by GT STORM processing only.
2. Beautiful appearance 
A beautiful black and white appearance is available without melt flow, burrow, or flow lines unique to die casting.
3. Unique film characteristics
Film thickness: Adjustable in the range from 10μm to 50μm (Good uniformity of each film thickness)
Hardness: Mg, 400Hv or higher; Al, 300Hv or higher (film thickness 30μm)
Corrosion resistance, salt spray test: Mg, 72H or higher; Al, 96H or higher (film thickness 30μm)
4. Uniform dimensions.
The finishing shows even dimensional changes before and after treatment, including tapped holes.

We are conducting mainly plating and chemical conversion processing. 
On the other hand, our company has developed 'functional thin film processing' such as TRI System and TIER Coat, and also carried out the development of the 'new plating process'.

We provide functional thin film treatment, which was developed in industry-university-government joint research. Our TRI System is a technology for joining metal and resin, and our TIER Coat is a technology for preventing the adhesion of resin onto metallic dies during plastic molding.

[Strength of products / technologies]
TRI System: Our TRI System is a technology for joining metal and resin without having to use an adhesive. The joining power is strong enough to destroy the resin portion when force is applied to peel off the joined portion, and the sealing properties are also excellent. 
TIER Coat: Our TIER Coat is a release film for resin moldings dies. The thickness of TIER Coat is as small as 30 nm. It has excellent releasability with respect to silicon resin, epoxy resin as an adhesive agent, thermosetting resin such as urethane resin, and thermoplastic resin such as acryl resin. This is how we can achieve resin moldings without having to use a release agent.

We have been actively participating in various exhibitions in various fields and at various locations (in Japan) since 2009. 
Our purpose is to cultivate markets with a focus on functional thin film processing. 
We established our sales engineering department in 2015, and started work on expanding sales including conventional plating and chemical conversion processing. We are steadily extending our overseas expansion in the form of technology transfer of our TRI System to South Korea in 2014, Vietnam in 2015, and China in 2016. 
We established our TRI Business Project in January 2016 in order to strengthen our support system. In the future we aim to expand our business, and we are considering the possibility of expansion to the United States and European countries.
