We are far ahead of our competitors in terms of the quantity of specialized repair equipment we possess. We also have many skilled technicians who handle automatic grinding machines and brazing machines. We are now actively working on passing down our skills to young engineers. We can remake cutting tools that are usually thrown away after use. It is also a feature of our company that we possess the technology to manufacture new cutting tools. Our corporate philosophy is that polishing brings brightness to both people and blades. We provide consistent support from behind the scenes for customers in many industrial categories from repairs to design and manufacturing through the treatment of cutting tools.
[Business description]
We provide comprehensive services relating to cutting tools from manufacturing to regrinding and restoration. We use artificial diamond to grind cutting tools that have become blunt. We can apply brazing with our special silver solder to restore the edge of an ultra-hard blade to an as-new condition if it has chipped or worn off during use. These are our original technologies. We have customers in industries including woodworking such as furniture and fittings, printing, food processing, wrapping, ironworking, waste treatment, resin, plastics, tires, and corrugated cardboard. We propose optimal methods corresponding to the use of a cutting tool, such as grinding, repairs, restoration, design, and manufacturing according to customer requests.

[Strength of products/technologies]
We contribute to cost reduction by our customers with our highly precise re-grinding. We possess many machine tools and grinding machines. We can apply the skilled technology of our engineers who handle automatic grinding machines and brazing machines to restore cutting tools that are usually thrown away. One of our specialties is regrinding and brazing of circular blades (chip saws) used for cutting wood. We can also handle repairs of blades (routers) with special curved shapes that are used to makes grooves on material surfaces and so on. Processing accuracy of 0.1 mm or less is required for routers that process wood for housing. We can offer high-accuracy cutting tools with the same level of precision after regrinding. Regrinding is cheaper than purchasing a new cutting tool, so we contribute to cost cutting by our customers.
[Representative's message]
We have been grinding cutting tools used for woodworking and various other fields since our foundation in 1978, and we also manufacture ultra-hard products such as cutters and routers. We now possess about 60 sets of machine tools and grinding machines, and have expanded our sales to new fields such as food processing and waste treatment. We concluded an agency agreement in 2001 with the Taiwanese ultra-hard cutting tool manufacturer City Tools. We are expanding our product line-up and enhancing our power to support increasingly diverse needs for cutting tools. Requests for machines, equipment, jigs, and so on, as well as cutting tools have been increasing as the times change. These requests come from customers in various industries such as woodworking, ironworking, food processing, paper making, and industrial waste processing. We hope to continue our operations extending throughout Japan from Hokkaido as an expert in cutting tools for industrial use.
[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Our HQ is located in Zenibako, Otaru City, Hokkaido and we have a sales office in Noshiro City, Akita Prefecture, and they respond to customer inquiries and so on. We want to smoothly expand our transactions with customers outside the Hokkaido and Tohoku regions by actively participating in exhibitions held in Tokyo and Nagoya. Our sales staff under the supervision of the president will provide thorough support for new business. We will listen to your requirements, and make an optimal proposal to apply our grinding and restoration technology to extend the lifetime of a part as long as possible.
