[Company strength]
We now have six manufacturing bases (Hokkaido, Tohoku, Kanto and Kansai) throughout Japan. We have arranged a production capability of about 200 million pieces per year according to our specifications. We can make use of these resources to supply products stably, speedily, and at a low cost. We have also established expert technology for temperature control including heat storage, as well as cold storage, under joint research with STS Laboratory. Our production facilities and technology power are our advantages.

[Business description]
We manufacture and sell various types of cold storage agents and heat storage agents. We have been dealing with product development and sales according to changing market needs since our foundation in 1981 as a company in the business of ice manufacturing and sales. We now manufacture and sell heat storage agents in addition to cold storage agents such as dry ice. We supply high-quality environmentally friendly cold storage agents and heat storage agents to markets that emphasize quality control by cooling and heat retention, such as medical supplies and precision equipment.

[Industry]
Heat storage agent manufacturing and sales

[Strength of products/technologies]
We can feely set temperatures in 1 °C steps in a range from -50 °C to +50 °C. At present only two companies in Japan, including our company, possess this technology. Our products were adopted by JAXA for storing experimental samples on the International Space Station (ISS) in 2013. We also receive high evaluations for product quality.

[Representative's message]
Insisting on maintaining the status quo triggers decline. We have expanded our business on the basis of this philosophy from ice manufacturing, which was our original business, to cold storage agents and further to heat storage agents. We continuously enhance our in-house technology, and we are actively working to expand our markets based on the technology we have cultivated in order to support detailed market needs. We hope to dispatch our products to countries in ASEAN, South America, and Europe as well Japan.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We also advertise our products by transmitting information from our website. We actively apply for various programs (such as the Japan Brand and ASEAN Caravan) in order to cultivate a wide range of markets other than our existing clients. We have established a sales unit that can support new clients, and a structure in which dedicated staff will be able to provide support.

[Market share/Ranking]
We have the No. 3 share in Japan’s heat insulating material market.
