[Company strength]
We specialize in glass recycling. We have set up a plant for accepting and processing any type of material, and also develop in-house devices for each type of glass. We therefore can accept orders from various industries. We accept all orders such as for bottles, sheet glass, window glass (with frame), automobile glass, glass of household appliances such as televisions (liquid crystal and plasma types), washing machines and refrigerators, and solar cell panels. We have established a system for recycling these products.

[Business description]
We have been developing environmental products since our foundation. We started a waste glass recycling business in 1990, and developed a dry process-glass recycling crushing device in 1995 (we have obtained patents in Japan and 20 other countries). We accept glass discharged from cities, towns and villages in the Tohoku region. Our product, named Crystal Stone, has received Eco Mark certification and resource-recycled product certification of Iwate Prefecture, and is used as an engineering material. We have obtained permission for intermediate processing of industrial waste. We are now expanding into recycling various kinds of glass discharged from factories, and working on the development, manufacture and sale of devices.

[Strength of products/technologies]
The glass-processed products we accept are particles without edges and are therefore safe. These products have received the National Eco Mark certification, have received resource-recycled product certification of Iwate Prefecture, and are widely used for public works projects. Our devices enable recycling to be performed for each product, and we have also obtained a patent for each device. Our plant is the only one that can recycle automobile windshields and solar cell panels, to the consternation of waste disposal entrepreneurs.

We have focused on “justice before profit” as our corporate philosophy since our foundation. This leads to a “customer-first principle”, and we have made many products in accordance with customers’ demands under this philosophy. We developed a dry process-glass recycling crushing device to meet strong demand from Japanese society, and have been developing the waste glass recycling business. In the 21st century, wasteful use of natural resources cannot continue; effective utilization of limited resources is essential. Our mission is to promote the recycling business including waste glass recycling, and all of our staff are dedicated to this mission.



[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We focus on the domestic market at present to ensure a balance for our in-house system. We develop environmental products according to customers’ desires, responding to requests from administrative bodies, etc. all over Japan. Each administrative body has introduced a recycling certification system for encouraging the circulation of resources, and the foundation of this project is nearing completion. We will continue to spread and establish an environmental circulation-type society where local rubbish is used and disposed of locally, as a leading company in the recycling business.

We have a low share in the bottle glass and plate glass recycling markets. Our automobile glass and window glass shares are at the starting stage. We have a monopoly in the recycling of solar cell panels.
