Contributing to social infrastructure in and out of Japan with hot forged bolts
A hot forged bolts manufacturer established in 1943, we supply a wide range of products mainly to industries such as railroads, industrial machinery, civil engineering and construction. We excel at producing high-quality large-diameter bolts having diameters of 30 mm or more, which are considered difficult to manufacture, and are expanding our business. We also conduct R&D and have received patents for original products jointly with client companies, universities and other partners. Our products are used in the Hokkaido, Tohoku and Hokuriku Bullet Train Lines, Center Loop Shinagawa Line of the Metropolitan Expressway, Hachinohe Thermal Power Plant, Shin-Sendai Thermal Power Plant, Joban Nakoso Power Plant, Fukushima Offshore Floating Wind Farm and the like. Overseas, our products are used in the Taiwan Bullet Train Lines and Beijing Subway, thus contributing to social infrastructure in and out of Japan.

[Company strength] As a manufacturer of hot forged and heat treated bolts, we have an integrated manufacturing and quality assurance system using in-house facilities. We also conduct failure analyses of market products and research & development of new products, in addition to technology cultivated since our company’s establishment, and have constructed a system for meeting the needs for fastening in various fields. In particular, we can produce large-diameter bolts which are difficult to manufacture. [Business description] Our company was established as a bolt factory of a coal-mining equipment manufacturers’ union for supplying materials to Joban coalfield. We make full use of hot forging and heat treatment technologies, thereby manufacturing and selling metal fastening parts with high quality at reasonable prices. We supply bolts to various industries including railroads, civil engineering, construction, industrial machinery and the like, and are highly evaluated. We also conduct R&D and have received patents, etc. for original products jointly with client companies, universities and other partners. We are helping to improve the social infrastructure by supplying safe and low-cost fastening parts. [Industry] Manufacturing and sales of metal fastening parts [Strength of products/technologies] We have an integrated manufacturing and quality assurance system, to ensure traceability of manufacturing and quality. In addition, we use fractography for quality assurance, and have constructed a system for quickly responding to emergency failures and material defects. Our R&D department conducts research and development on “fastening”, and works with client companies and universities to research and develop original products and acquire patents, etc. We acquired technology for precisely controlling the crystalline structure of metal through “micro processing control technology of large-diameter bolt” developed in the “Strategic Core Technology Advancement Program in 2012-2015”. We manufacture and sell safe, low-cost fastening products (bolts, screws, etc.) to customers involved in social infrastructure construction such as railroads, architecture, civil engineering and construction. We established a “Screw Laboratory” as a new research & development department, and a corporate planning department, in order to increase these values which customers require.
