We design and manufacture various automatic machines for semiconductor manufacturing, including wafer chamfering machines, inspection and surface treatment devices, cyclone lapping process devices, and abrasive recycling devices. We have an integrated system from specifications arrangement to design, manufacturing, field installation, adjustment, and maintenance to provide unique products that satisfy customer needs. Our main products are abrasive recycling devices that process used liquid abrasives by means of fluid classification and regenerate abrasives equivalent to new liquid. We flexibly support implementing systems capable of effectively extracting target abrasive grains by lending a machine for evaluation and reflecting the evaluation result in the actual machine.

[Company strength]
Our company possesses specialized technology for the classification of abrasives using cyclone classifiers. We design and manufacture abrasive classifying and recycling devices that make use of the cyclone method. Our products account for more than 50% of the abrasives used in the silicon wafer lapping process. We are planning to apply for a patent for our technology of pulverizing scallop shells, mixing the powder into clay, and producing grains. Mixing into clay resolves various inconveniences with molded products that are manufactured merely by sintering scallop powder. We keep the pH value high, at about 11.0 to 11.5.

[Business description]
Our company designs and manufactures devices for classifying and recycling abrasives (abrasives plus water and so on) used in semiconductor wafer polishing and other processes. We mix scallop shell powder into clay and sinter the mixture after molding and granulation to manufacture our products. Sintering scallop shell powder alone cannot effectively extract alkaline water, which causes a loss of the durability that is an advantage of scallop shell powder. The original effects against bacteria, ammonia odors, and so on are long-lasting when the powder is mixed into clay.

[Strength of products/technologies]
We can classify abrasive grains 1 μm or larger in abrasive recycling. Japan has few resources, so we want to be of any assistance we can to our customers. Our product is made from scallop shells, and reacts with water to generate alkaline water. This alkaline water drastically reduces bacteria as well as ammonia odors. The best thing of all is that our product is very durable and generates alkaline water several dozen times if it is reacted with water in a container. (Results vary according to the pH value and conditions.) The scallop powder makes the water turbid if alkaline water is generated using scallop shell powder that has been sintered alone. This problem can also be solved by mixing the power into clay and sintering them together.

We quickly manufacture satisfactory devices for recycling abrasives, which feature greater performance than our customers expect. We will continue to manufacture products from scallop shell powder by making the most of the advantages of scallop shells to contribute to suppressing bacteria and ammonia odors.

 We will continue to seek out the advantages of scallop shells so we can be of some assistance, because we live in resource-poor Japan.
