We are an AIST venture company from the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), and we manufacture cutting-edge nondestructive inspection systems.

We are a manufacturer of nondestructive inspection systems. Our company was established in 2005 by an ultrasonics researcher at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). We make use of the latest technologies and our connections with researchers and engineers at AIST and other research institutions to develop advanced products. Our company was certified as an AIST venture in 2007, and we productized our laser visualizing inspector. This was followed by other R&D successes, such as our compact X-ray inspector, radiation detector, and C-scan inspector. We are also involved in many industry-university-government collaboration projects, and enthusiastic about future overseas expansion.

[Company strength]
Our company has been dedicated to product development applying advanced technologies since our establishment by an ultrasonics researcher at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). We still have many connections with researchers and engineers at AIST and other research institutions, and we can make use of the latest technologies in product development.

We develop, manufacture, and sell (1) laser ultrasonic visualizing inspectors, and (2) compact X-ray inspectors.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our laser ultrasonic visualizing inspector scans a target with pulse-laser-generated ultrasound, and observes the propagation of ultrasonic waves on the material as a moving image to detect failures. This ultrasonic visualization technology (as a moving image) is our strong point. Our compact X-ray inspector can generate X-rays as soon as it is started, which was made possible by replacing preheating (necessary in conventional X-ray equipment) with field emission. This convenience and portability are the main features of this equipment. 

[Representative's message]
We established this company in 2005, and obtained certification as an AIST venture in 2007 to start the productization of our laser visualizing inspector. We then went on to develop our compact X-ray inspector, radiation detector, and C-scan inspector as a non-destructive inspection system manufacturer. We were involved in many other industry-university-government projects while developing and distributing these products. We are a group of engineers who are always engaged in R&D. We will continue to enhance our technologies and provide inspection services to companies and research institutions while contributing to the fields of social infrastructure and healthcare. We will also extend our operations overseas. 

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
In 2014 we applied for two support programs held by the Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center, which targeted helping SMEs develop new markets and overseas markets. We later established a sales office, and it is currently being operated by four staff members.

Our company barely exists in the industry ranking as we account for 0.1% of the domestic Japanese market for nondestructive inspectors. We are just getting started.
