We offer new technologies that convert energy to electricity.
We offer development, prototype manufacturing, verification, and sales of power generation technology that combines mechanical engineering and electronic control. This is based on technologies that have been gained from long-distance auto races such as Le Mans. Demand for environmentally friendly compact generators has been on the rise since the Great East Japan earthquake. This is why we developed ultra-compact emergency generators (1 kW to 6 kW), 50 kW engines, and electronic control systems. These products are based on high thermal efficiency gas engines (that exhaust clean gas). We also make proposals regarding a new generation system that applies exhaust energy recovery and regeneration technology to make use of exhaust energy from these engines.
[Company strength] The main characteristics of our product development derive from our 15 years of participation in long-distance auto races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans and Daytona. This experience has allowed us to develop highly durable products at an exceptional speed. World-class long-distance races such as these require a wide range of technical elements, including mechanical engineering, electronics, and communications systems. Our company possesses just the right technologies to offer these elements. We possess the technology to convert energy into a power source irrespective of the source of energy, including fossil fuel, biomass, or even exhaust heat. We specialize in gas engines, and possess the technology to start an engine regardless of the gas composition. Our company develops ultra-compact emergency generators (1 kW, 3 kW, and 6 kW), 50 kW engines, and electronic control systems. This is done by making use of high thermal efficiency gas engines as a base. We also develop exhaust energy regeneration technology that recovers and reuses exhaust energy from engines, and make proposals on new power generation systems as an application of this technology. Our offerings are new technologies that convert energy to electricity in various forms, from emergency power sources to exhaust heat generation. These are composite technologies that combine mechanical engines and electronic control. [Industry] Precision devices [Strength of products/technologies] People recognized the necessity of electricity in everyday life after the Great East Japan earthquake on March 11, 2011. Most generators used before this earthquake had a large built-in diesel engine, and the need for compact, high thermal efficiency gas engines was not strong. However, demand for compact emergency generators has been increasing, and especially for compact products with clean exhaust air. This is partly because of their low environmental load. It is difficult to find many compact high-performance generators even in overseas markets. This is why we combined these features with exhaust energy recovery and regeneration technology, and realized a compact high-efficiency generator by applying our original thinking. [Representative's message] Industry-university collaboration has been our main focus since our establishment, and among these projects our 15 years of collaboration for international long-distance auto races is especially highly valued overseas. People used to think that only major companies could develop internal combustion engines and power trains. Our company has grown into one of the rare companies that has developed as many as six high-performance engine models that are ranked as top-class in the industry. We have also been attracting attention in recent years for having verified a system that generates electricity from exhaust gas and exhaust heat. We hope to contribute to society and Japan’s industrial sector through these technologies. Sales activities are mostly targeted at potential customers who contact us after reading about us in newspaper or magazine articles or on our corporate website. Distributed power generation with natural gas is in demand overseas, and our technology is being covered by foreign media outlets.
