Fukuda X'tal Laboratory 

We contribute to the electronics field by developing technology related to single crystals.

We are an R&D-type venture business. We develop single crystal material and 
single crystal manufacturing technology, which support state-of-the-art electronics. We possess the technology to grow crystals from small device size crystals made using micro PD equipment to 10-inch-diameter crystals made using the Czochralski (CZ) crystal growth method. Our technology is attracting attention in the industry. Tsugio Fukuda, our company’s founder, has been accumulating experience in artificial crystals for about 40 years. He is a recipient of the Jan Czochralski Gold Medal, which is awarded to researchers who have achieved outstanding performance in science and technology.

[Company strength]
Our president Tsugio Fukuda founded this company in January 2002 based on the outcomes of his research for about 40 years on artificial crystals. He conducted his work in an industry-government-university research environment, at Toshiba, the Joint Research Institute of Optical Technology, and Tohoku University. He has contributed to society through his studies for 50 years or more, including the 13 years after founding our company. We also possess technology to grow crystals from small device size crystals made using the micro PD equipment to 10-inch-diameter crystals made using the Czochralski (CZ) method. Our president has cultivated personal relationships in the crystal industry for many years, and he transmits information while collecting the latest information from all over the world. This has resulted in the establishment of our company’s brand.

We develop single crystals and the manufacturing technology for single crystals, and design and manufacture manufacturing equipment for single crystals. We also offer consultation from research related to single crystals to commercialization.

Our product technology is created based on our product commercialization R&D, extensive network of personal relationships, and partnerships with manufacturers of raw material, parts, equipment and products. We focus on marketing in partnership with trading companies.

At the same time we are expanding sales to product manufacturers, and even expanding overseas through major trading companies. We will make full use of the extensive network of personal relationships we have in Japan and overseas.

We have concluded an agency contract about consignment development with Sumitomo Shoji Machinex. Our company provides support by reinforcing senior engineers.
