Our company assists cutting-edge research in a wide range of fields, such as X-ray and neutron optical elements and semiconductor processing. We provide technical support based on our technology for mirror-polishing crystals and other fragile materials without breaking their atomic structure. We have been fabricating X-ray optical elements for the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization’s PF and SPring-8 since their foundation. We provide ultra-high-precision crystal shaping and polishing technologies. Our feature technology is to mirror-polish artificial crystals without breaking their atomic structure. We have many products with the top market share in Japan, including a crystal monochromator for synchrotron radiation.

[Company strength]
Our company was established to process all crystals in the periodic table from the viewpoint of researchers. We established a non-disturbance polishing technology as a result of sincerely tackling crystals and research needs. Our crystals have been continuously used in the world's highest-level synchrotron radiation facilities since their foundation. All users of our crystals say that our company’s crystals are the best. We are proud of our processing technology for all crystals, which is useful for everyone.

Our company assists cutting-edge research with manufacturing and technical support based on our technology for mirror-polishing crystals and other fragile materials without breaking their atomic structure. We support a wide range of fields, such as X-ray and neutron optical elements, superconduction, optical communications, crystal evaluation, and semiconductor processing. Many R&D projects in Japan and abroad are confidential. We have been fabricating X-ray optical elements since the establishment of the core facilities by the national government.  This is why we now have an overwhelming market share for crystal monochromators for synchrotron radiation in Japan.

[Strength of products/technologies]
The ring at synchrotron radiation facilities produces light containing every wavelength, and a specific wavelength is extracted from this light for use. A monochromator is necessary for this extraction.  The light will be scattered, output will go down, and the reproducibility of the research results will also be affected if the atomic structure is distorted. An atomic-level understanding of crystals is indispensable for fabricating analyzing crystals. Our advantage is our globally appreciated non-disturbance surface creation technology, in which an understanding of materials is more important than machine handling.  We also have experience in research consigned from national organizations on X-ray interferometers and double-curved crystals.

We can freely orient and facet silicon and other crystals and also meet nano-level surface requirements. This is why we have been able to grow as a company. In our work with researchers on many occasions we thought that these technologies might also be applicable to other fields. This is why we decided to apply to join J-GoodTech. There is a great need for a direct meeting with the final user for crystal production, because crystal products have specific physical properties. This is why expertise is necessary even for sales. We always have a system in place so that even customers who are unfamiliar with crystals can have peace of mind about meeting their requests. We also have an English website and provide a technical sense of security right from the start for inquiries from abroad.
