[Company strength]
Our company is led by a manager who has experience in development at a pharmaceutical manufacturer and also researchers who have high-level techniques. We possess patented technologies and accumulated know-how, so we can now acquire antibody types that used to be difficult. We conduct conventional assays and we can also develop and propose assays suitable for customer needs.

[Business description]
We conduct initial stage drug discovery on consignment and also discover and develop drugs ourselves. We have been entrusted with antibody preparation dedicated to G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs). We also build up assay systems and conduct assays dedicated to the initial stage of drug discovery for pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturers, universities, and research organizations in Japan. We are now executing an in-house drug discovery and development project for developing antibody pharmaceutical seeds and low-molecule pharmaceutical seeds.

[Strength of products/technologies]
GPCRs are involved in various diseases. These are attractive target molecules for remedy development. However, the acquisition of antibodies is known to be difficult because of their structure. Our company established a technical foundation for the efficient acquisition of GPCR antibodies and succeeded in acquiring functional GPCR antibodies capable of adjusting the GPCR function itself. We started to introduce this consignment business in the latter half of FY2013. We are now conducting in-house development with an antibody (patented) acquired by this technology as an antibody pharmaceutical seed. Our seed function is highly appreciated among pharmaceutical manufacturers in Japan and abroad.

Our company has been providing drug discovery support services to pharmaceutical manufacturers and research organizations in Japan since our foundation. We receive inquiries at exhibitions in Japan and abroad about the GPCR antibody consignment business that we have initiated. We will develop new customers. We will also we will make further contact with pharmaceutical manufacturers in Japan and abroad for licensing and joint development related to the drug discovery seeds under in-house development.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Our company has domestic and overseas business development staff to conduct negotiations and conclude contracts with major companies. The president and staff in charge attend overseas business meetings about a couple of times a year to proactively discover new customers.
