[Company strength]
The characteristics (strengths) of our company are that we possess electric power technology strongly associated with the power industry, as well as the usual hardware, software and firmware technology. This technology supports the broad range of our product development. We also have a development HQ, which comprises the divisions focusing on technology development. The development HQ pursues R&D with the keywords “sound, light, and magnetism.” This is done in order to expand our original product development, and includes technology development for applied products using our electric power technology. 

[Business description]
We manufacture and sell power monitoring and control equipment, maintenance support equipment, remote monitoring and control equipment, and other equipment for monitoring and control. Our products include various monitoring and control systems related to social infrastructure. These include dam management systems, waterworks and sewerage monitoring and control equipment, electric facilities for railroads, and remote monitoring and control systems for school heating. We also develop technologies and commercialize various sensors and nursing care equipment as products under our own brand. One of these products is Your Tone II, which has a high share of the Japanese market for electric artificial larynxes.

[Strength of products/technologies]
We are the only company in Hokkaido that manufactures dam control systems. We also manufacture a lot of monitoring and control equipment related to social infrastructure, so we can provide highly reliable products. Your Tone II, which is Japan’s first electric artificial larynx, is our original product. Your Tone II has highly unique, world-first functions such as the addition of intonation and the capability to sing easily. Our voice-creating iOS software Yubi de Hanaso (let’s talk with our fingers) has the world’s first interface that can simulate the motion of the human mouth and generate sound. This is how we are conducting innovative technology development. 

[Representative's message]
Currently most of our products are sold in Hokkaido. However, we think that the various kinds of monitoring and control equipment that constitute our core products can be applicable to a variety of industries nationwide. This is why we hope to expand our sales to broader markets and wider applications. We hope to expand overseas sales of our electric artificial larynx among our original products to countries in Europe and Asia.

Our sales department will be the point of contact for major companies. Our brand business unit will be the point of contact for inquiries regarding our original products. Our development HQ and custom business unit will provide support for technical consultations, and will deal with matters by having meetings if necessary. Our brand business unit will be the point of contact for inquiries from overseas customers.

We have a share of about 70% of the domestic Japanese electric artificial larynx market (based on our data).
