[Company strength]
Our company was established in 1985 with the slogan “We do not manufacture the same products as other companies sell. Let’s commercialize only products superior to previous products and products to be worldwide news”. We have consecutively created clean and high-reliability conveying devices for manufacturing semiconductor wafers and liquid crystal glass substrates, such as ultra-compact motor control equipment, clean robots, dual-arm robots, multi-axis interpolation robots, and high-speed wafer sorter/EFEM. The market share of our semiconductor wafer transfer system is in the world’s top class, which supports semiconductor and liquid crystal industries worldwide. In addition, we apply and deploy cultivated clean conveying technology to other fields such as bio-related fields. 



[Business description]
Our company group consists of Rorze Corp., its eight subsidiaries and five related companies. Its main businesses are development, manufacturing and sales of dust-free-ready conveying robots and related application devices, which are used in manufacturing processes in IC manufacturing plants in the semiconductor industry and in LCD manufacturing plants in the liquid crystal industry.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our company has unique technology, such as airflow controlling for suppressing dust to a minimum in a semiconductor production site, which has the technical capability to create internationally competitive products. We develop and manufacture in-house core parts such as a controller serving as brain, a motor drive serving as heart, and sensors serving as the five senses of a product. Conveying robot arms which our company delivered to the world using those technologies are standard in the industry. Not only does our Monozukuri craftsmanship fit customer needs and respond to short delivery times, but our high-quality worldwide support system provides high reliability to our customers. 



[Representative's message]
I envisage a corporate system that draws in personnel rich in imagination, technical capability and drive to always make our company competitive at the leading-edge in the world. This image is based on the philosophy that a “Company is a place for working to improve technology from an individual and realize future dreams”, which I thought up, at the age of 40, for the company’s founding. Our company name is derived from the Rorze peak, supporting Everest, the highest peak in the world, from the side, with a philosophy of “a group confident with technology and takes pleasure from work”. We would like to go forward with all employees aiming for development of new products which are appreciated by customers across the world. 



[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We have trained many design team members with an awareness of overseas safety standards, etc., and constructed a system capable of developing products with third party certification, including CE mark. We also acquired ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and constructed a corporate system in which worldwide quality improvement, environment and service system are considered, from internal and external viewpoints of the company. In addition, we have the group’s largest plant in Vietnam as a manufacturing base of mass produced products. Furthermore, regarding magnets which are core to our main products, we established a new company for stably producing competitively-costed rare earth magnets in February 2013, in order to ensure cost competitiveness under intensified international competition.

Our company is ranked third in the world in the field of silicon wafer conveying devices. (Composition ratio of consolidated sales: 71% for wafer conveying devices, 12% for glass substrate conveying devices and 17% for other businesses)
