IKEYAMA medical Japan co.,Ltd.

We manufacture custom-made silicone mammary prostheses.

We manufacture custom-made mammary prostheses with 100% silicone, which is regarded as harmless to humans. This is done for former and current cancer patients who have had a breast removed. We have had extensive experience in 2000 cases of making prosthetics. We provide highly aesthetic mammary prostheses according to each individual’s shape and color. They are attached to the skin with medical adhesive. Users can play sports and take a bath without restrictions. We manufacture prostheses for other body parts such as the fingers and face. We have seen that there is a great potential demand overseas, so we have been preparing to enter overseas markets as one of our urgent tasks.

[Company strength]
The breast cancer rate in the recent years is said to be one in every 15 women, or 500,000 patients nationwide. Few manufacturers paid attention to the aesthetic aspects of mammary prostheses. We make the most of the experience and knowledge we have accumulated with 2000 patients, and we can make any type of artificial breast according to each unique order. We make prosthetics for other parts including the fingers and face in addition to mammary prostheses. We believe that there should be no regional disparities for people in need, and that we should provide our service to whoever needs it. This is why we have started visiting potential users nationwide.

[Business description]
We manufacture and sell mammary prostheses. We provide 100% silicone custom-made mammary prostheses as a postoperative option for women who have had a breast removed. Our products cover any part of the human body including the fingers and face. “Epithesis” is a general term for a prosthesis for a missing body part that can precisely reproduce the shape, touch, and color of the complicated human body.
Epitheses are available as prosthetics for the eyes, ears, nose, breasts, and fingers. The potential need for mammary prostheses has been gaining more attention in Japan due to the recent growth of the breast cancer rate. Our prostheses are made to order in the following process: making a mold, making a master model with clay, molding silicone, and adjusting colors.

Mammary prosthesis manufacturing

[Strength of products/technologies]
We make custom-made mammary prostheses with silicone, which is harmless to humans. We have gained know-how through our past experience, so we can provide highly aesthetic artificial breasts with various shapes and colors precisely adjusted for each patient. They can be attached to the skin with medical adhesive so that they are retained in place after removing clothes, and users can wear any design of underwear. Users can enjoy baths, showers, and sports that had been given up by most breast cancer patients who experienced breast removal operations.
