[Product description] Caught fish used to be put in the fish well of a vessel with crushed ice made of seawater and fresh water for cooling. However, this can keep the fish fresh only for a short time and distribution of very fresh fish is difficult. Our technology instantaneously generates silk ice, which is a sorbet smooth as silk, from seawater or saline water. Silk ice is a soft ice with a size of about 8 microns. The cooling temperature goes down very quickly and remains below zero for a long time. The ice envelops the fish and cools them down very quickly without damaging them. Snow-like ice can be used to keep freshness for transportation after landing until they are bought by consumers. This is done by eliminating the water from the silk ice.
