Kashima Seisakusho Co., Ltd.
We plan to set up operation in Myanmar in the construction field using our steel molding forms.
We manufacture steel molding forms, which are temporary construction materials used before pouring concrete. There are only five steel molding form manufacturers in Kyushu. Our company has played an important role in the construction field in the Kyushu region. This includes design and manufacturing of molding forms for beams, pillars, verandas, bridge girders, and floors for hotels such as Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk. We have also provided such materials for high-rise condominiums such as Island Tower Sky Club. We were responsible for design and manufacturing of steel molding frames for precast concrete in the construction of Fukuoka City’s floating structure for offshore wind power generation in 2011. Our company’s general-purpose form was approved under the support program for SME manufacturers’ prototype development in 2012. We are currently planning to expand in Southeast Asia, and especially in Myanmar.
Other presentation
[Company strength] Our company has been building up technologies and know-how for over 40 years, including the term of our current president’s father. Our specialty of steel molding form manufacturing is a niche field, and there are only five companies in this business in the Kyushu region. We have an extensive track record in designing and manufacturing molding forms to create beams, pillars, verandas, bridge girders, and floors for high-rise condominiums in Kyushu. We have also developed original products (patented) with the aim of becoming an innovative company having strengths in technology and marketing. [Business description] We are a manufacturer of steel molding forms that are used for making concrete products. We incorporate the customer’s needs regarding quantity, manufacturing processes and procedures, and cost based on product drawings issued by a general contractor’s precast concrete plant. The finished drawings are then used to design molding forms with CAD. We also use CAD/CAM for primary processing (laser machining) before manufacturing highly accurate, high-strength steel molding forms and delivering them to the customer’s plant. [Industry] Steel molding form manufacturing (for concrete products) [Representative's message] I am our company’s president and also an engineer with over 20 years of experience in the industry. I have been studying business administration with plans to acquire an MBA degree in March 2017. I have come to realize from my learning experience and overseas inspection tour that there are many opportunities for Japanese manufacturers, and many overseas companies are willing to make offers. I hope to make use of J-GoodTech to improve the status of Japanese manufacturers in the global market by creating a more specific method for operations. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] Our company’s general-purpose form was approved under the support program for SME manufacturers’ prototype development in 2012. We are currently planning to expand to Southeast Asia, and especially Myanmar. We hope to propose high-value-added steel molding forms based on our form and original patented products. Our products can lead to cost reduction, improved productivity, and lead time reduction. We also want to create a manufacturing and sales operation method for overseas sites to reproduce Japan-quality steel molding frames. [Awards and media coverage] [Media] Data Max, “Net IB News,” on creating a secure and attractive workplace for engineers (2015). [Authorization/Certification] Japanese Patent No. 5680357. [Intellectual property] Main Reinforcement Receptacle Jig for Precast Concrete Form and Method for Manufacturing Precast Concrete Members.
