Technology 1. Offset Strip Fins: First Manufacturer in Japan We were able to develop truly groundbreaking technology utilizing a combination of lancing and drawing of stainless steel. We succeeded in making this form using one progressive die. We are the first company in Japan to achieve this solution. Technology 2. Filter: Cost Reduction Effect We succeeded in stamping more than 120 small holes within the area of one-sixth that of a 10-cent coin. The tolerance of the hole pitch is less than 3 μm. The price of this product is greatly reduced to 10% of the current market price. Technology 3. Ultra-small Clip: Compact and Lightweight We successfully make this form at an accuracy of ±10 μm using a progressive die. This process is exceptional taking into consideration the extreme thinness of the material being manipulated. Technology 4. Circle+V Shape: Reducing the Number of Parts We succeeded in making the entire shape in one strike using a progressive die. We also achieved a circularity of 15 μm for the circular part of this product, which includes a V-shaped wing. Technology 5. Banana Plug: Achieving High Productivity We succeeded in stamping this product using one progressive die. This form is made by stamping out, bending, and squeezing with one strike of the die. This is why we are able to supply this product in large quantities and at a significantly lower price.
■Cases of issue solutions [First commercialization and mass production in Japan] It had been the case that the conventional press working method was not applicable to forming shapes that require drawing and lancing. We were able to form such shapes from SUS by using progressive presses. Our company succeeded in commercialization and mass production for the first time in Japan. [One-tenth cost reduction] In the one-sixth range of a one-yen coin, we could successfully punch 121 holes very accurately with hole pitch tolerance not over 3 µm. This method reduced the cost to one-tenth compared with the conventional etching method. [Product miniaturization] We succeeded in miniaturizing products by punching and bending boards with a thickness of 0.06 mm very accurately with a minimum dimensional tolerance of ±10 µm.
