We provide highly efficient, accurate solutions with our database of accumulated knowledge about R&D for state-of-the-art device hardware and software. Our strength is our total design capability combining FPGA, circuit design, and PCB design together with development tools. We also specialize in providing technologies that set us apart from other companies. These include practical applications of cutting-edge technologies through joint development projects with a university and proposals for advanced systems together with our partner companies.

We develop image processing hardware and provide solutions in a range of fields from inspection equipment, automotive, and medical to robotics. We carry out proposal-based projects based on either specifications or demonstration devices for design divisions involved in image processing systems. These projects include image processing algorithms or prototype devices using electronic circuit data (IP) or FPGAs. We offer robust support for developing cutting-edge devices. This includes validation tests of the latest image processing algorithms, taking designs to the semiconductor chip stage, and studying how to get higher performance from existing devices.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our ArchiTek Intelligence image processing engine contains image processing circuitry that can process images 10 times faster than a computer, while providing programmable, flexible processing despite being a hardware engine. The IPE is our core product, and we can complement it with software and peripherals to tailor it to various kinds of image processing equipment. It can be used to construct a system adaptable to machine vision using AI (including deep learning) that can keep up with advances in image processing. Cost performance is another major advantage. Our single platform can be applied to multiple applications, so development costs can be significantly cut.

Image sensing technology has developed tremendously quickly and it is widely used, with about a trillion sensors worldwide. Image processing circuits are a core component of this technology, and our products work with devices used in many fields, such as automotive, medical, factories, agriculture, robotics, and defense. We plan on expanding our markets by making use of semiconductor vendors and creating many kinds of solutions. We also are making some of our technology available as open source technology in a bid to create a de facto standard, with an eye to worldwide expansion.

We have partnered with a number of companies (currently six) to provide development, sales, and customer support due to our internal resources. We have established an English-language support system for overseas corporations.
