Cutting, drying and burning are our specialty. We are always working on new potentials by utilizing our special technology. As a company with a comprehensive planning methodology, we sell various products from lumber plants and wood drying plants to labor-saving cutting machines. We also handle wood processing from lumber sawing to drying, processing, heating steam boilers fueled by bark, chips and other byproducts and home power generation. We are keenly aware of the importance of wood as a valuable environmental resource and process materials to give high added value, which increases demands for wood to help grow forests that protect our industry and the important global environment.

Oi Seisakusho Co., Ltd. is an energetic company engaged in manufacture and sale of mainly saw mills, timber dryers, and wood waste boiler systems with the spirit to meet any challenge. Our comprehensive business methodology lets us sell various products from lumber sawing plants, wood drying plants, and labor-saving cutting machines to dealing with lumber sawing, drying and processing. We also utilize energy obtained from wooden byproducts. Wood is an important environmental resource and our keen awarness of its importance lets us process materials with high added-value. This increases the demand for wood to help us grow the forests that protect our industry and the important global environment.

[Strength of products/technologies]
We are always striving to improve our current level of technology and are dedicated to R&D in lumber sawing, drying and wooden fuel boiler systems that are a step ahead of the competition. We further refine our R&D efforts by making our current R&D activities known to the general public and invite them to take an interest in our company. We are constantly engaged in R&D on new lumber sawing, drying and wooden fuel boiler systems such as the NTB system, a medium-temperature hot air decompression drying method and a high-water-content-fuel high-efficiency boiler.

Wood is drawing a lot of attention for its role as a recyclable resource. We believe it is our mission to give added value to these valuable resources to realize appropriate recycling. Cutting, drying and burning are our specialty. We always work on new potential avinues by utilizing our special technology. Through our effort to develop new sales channels, we display our products at exhibitions in Japan, such as the Japan Woodworking Machinery Fair, and propose new applications to potential customers. We also intend to work on overseas markets.

At the Japan Woodworking Machinery Fair or other exhibitions, we display our three main products; our rapid lumber sawing NTB system, the highly efficient medium-temperature hot air decompression dryer, and the turbo biomass boiler that provides excellent combustion with a tornado air current. In addition, we present our advanced techniques and applications to promote expansion of sales channels and activation of sales activities both in and out of Japan. We have a Russian employee as part of our effort to expand our sales outside Japan. We set up a website in Russian, exhibit our products in exhibitions of various sizes in Russia, and promote the expansion of sales channels and activities.

Our project “development and commercialization of a new type of band saw and band saw bench” was certified as a new collaboration project plan by the Kanto Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry.　　Our NTB system won the excellent technology award of the Japan Woodworking Machinery Fair and Wood Ecological Technology Fair 2015.

[Joint research and development]
We promoted a new collaboration project “development and commercialization of a high-performance band saw equipped on a band saw bench to realize super high-speed lumber production” with the technical support of the Graduate School of Nagoya University. We also conduct joint research with the Graduate School of Kyoto University and the Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute on band saw teeth. We also applied for patents for a drying machine or wood processing machine jointly with the prefectural government of Okayama and Kochi based on joint development.
