[Company strength]
We have established a system allowing us to provide services for a wide range of fields including composition, mixing, molding, processing, analysis and property evaluation of polymeric materials. This also allows us to implement commissioned tests, and accurately satisfy various needs. This is one of our company’s strengths. Our testing is carried out at world-class facilities under internationally accepted management systems. We also offer related services of testing according to international standards and regulations, proxy applications and registration, acquiring information, and R&D consultation. We are a trusted supporter for polymeric material R&D, and we have received numerous orders from customers. We can perform testing and R&D with specially designed procedures for a particular purpose as well as regular procedures. Many of our customers recommend asking us when it is difficult to find a solution. More than once customers have called us first when they were asked to submit totally unfamiliar test data. We will strive to become a laboratory for testing and R&D that customers find even more handy.

[Business description]
Our company was established in 1964. We were established with the goal of becoming an internationally renowned testing and research laboratory for the field of polymeric materials. We have reinforced our technologies and accumulated experience and know-how for over five decades while playing a part in developing new polymeric materials. We have been accepted as a reliable third-party research institution for polymeric materials by users from a wide variety of fields.

[Strength of products/technologies]
We will maintain our core business of commissioned R&D and testing of polymeric materials. We also aim to be a unique company in a niche field that no other competitors have been involved with. We want to enter the medical field by establishing a new system to satisfy requirements from an even wider range of fields. This includes providing form molding using MuCell and performing MCC. 

[Representative's message]
Our company started out in Kohoku Ward, Yokohama, and we have supported customers in the polymeric material field for over 50 years. We have grown along with the industry, and especially the polymeric material market, while gaining trust as well as receiving strict but encouraging comments from our customers. We expanded our Chiba Technical Center facility to cover a wider range of material testing and trial processing. We also built a new laboratory in Nagoya for customers in the Chubu region and Western Japan, and added a laboratory specializing in processing technologies for better processing services. The expanded facilities of our offices and laboratories and new purchases of high-tech equipment make us capable of providing equipment and services that assist with our customers’ R&D activities. We are not limited to supporting material testing and research. We have reinforced our system to bridge special testing overseas and application services for international and industrial standards. Our goal is to help customers from the very beginning to the end of their material development projects. Our expansion is thanks to our loyal customers who use our services. Japan’s domestic industries have shown little growth in recent years, unlike the period of dramatic economic growth between the 1950s and 1970s. The trend for the polymeric material industry is especially unfavorable for such business operators, who are entering into a difficult era. We are having a hard time due to changes in economic circumstances caused by low sales of new products, a diminished oil industry, environmental and energy issues, and intensified international competition. We will devote ourselves to contributing to our customers to help solve their problems. We will do this while actively promoting services that accurately address customer needs and challenges with polymeric materials and composite materials. Our whole company will unite to provide customers with excellent services by carefully listening to what they have to say. We believe that our sincere efforts to accurately understand customer challenges will help us contribute to the field of polymeric materials supporting a sustainable society. We look forward to serving current and prospective customers.

First, we will reinforce our website to be highly ranked for search results in terms of development and testing methods that customers search for. Second, we will also seek more business opportunities by joining J-GoodTech and other business matching sites. Third, we will meet more new customers by increasing recognition of our company through trade shows.

We provide our services for customers in Japan and overseas, including material manufacturers (resin, filler, additive), manufacturers of automobiles, auto parts and OA equipment, enterprises that handle polymeric materials like plastic and rubber, and research organizations such as universities.

We have done business with foreign companies with branches in Japan and Japanese companies with branches overseas, but not directly with foreign companies overseas.
